Is This a Real 1996 Chevy Corvette ZR-1 at IAA for Stupid Cheap?

Another fun video to watch. I had a 2006 G6 sedan back in 2006. It was new, black and was the absolute base model. Didn't even have keyless entry. The oem cd player gave me issues, the car was slow as molasses and I generally didn't like it. It was a mistake financing it but it did get me from point a to b so I guess it wasn't all bad. The car got repoed in March 2009 after almost 3 years of paying on it. I didn't care. By that time the car had damage both to the body and the engine because at one point I hit a curb and busted the oil pan. Drove the car about 3 miles home with no oil in the engine. The little 4 cylinder that could kept cutting off but I would start it up and continue driving it. I made it home, next day had it towed to a dealership, paid $700 for a new oil pan and she was right as rain. Well, the car never drove right after that and was even slower and got worse gas mileage than it already did but I really didn't care. Anyway, I have a lot of memories with that car so every time you show one at copart, it brings me back.

This Vette is an AUTOMATIC. All ZR-1s were 6-Speed Manuals. Lol. Love the Red Interior!

Thank you for the walk around. I'm definitely interested in getting into buying some auction cars and try to resale for a profit (hopefully) I've been in some peoples cars where I couldn't wait to get out because of the smell , and even having to change my clothes afterwards .

Watched the video of Sarah driving, she was so happy. My great grandfather taught me to drive when I was 12. Learned to drive a semi at 14. So by the time I took drivers ed here in Texas at 15 it was a joke and the instructor only let ke drive once after I told hom that.

The Avalance ... when you opened the tailgate there was water in there.... My Guess the Back window part that comes out was probably leaking on the inside and up toward the front of the box.... Thats why the floor mats are up and seats are forward

The maverick bedsides are removable just like the front fenders do .The hybrids are unbelievably hard to find,but they are a great small truck.

Mavericks are great city trucks, and the price is great considering the cost of a new F150 or even Ranger. With the Tailgate down the bed is pretty useful, even more with the extender. The only issue is the low tow ratings, but that's not the point of the Maverick, you may be able go down to one car for the family and still have a bit of capability for not much cost.

The Maverick bed side does basically unbolt. I think there's one spot weld to drill out.

Easiest way to tell a C4 ZR-1 is the high mount brake light. No high mount, no ZR-1.

I was 14 when I learned how to drive. My first time Actually driving was a 1994 honda civic 5 speed manual. That Actually became my first car. I don't think she was to young to learn at all. If they can reach the petals it's time.

Engine's been replaced on that avalanche. It's way too clean considering what the rest of the truck looks like and it would make total sense too. Because 2007 was a year with AFM, so It's entirely possible, it's a replacement motor that hopefully is had the AFM deleted.

You could always buy the maverick put it away and buy the parts as they become available and here and there have content and even after a year or more you’ll make good money when you send it down the road. If you think about it you have tons of cars that sit anyways so this truck will just be back up content as you accumulate the parts it doesn’t even look hard to work on and at the end of the day it will be an actual rebuild just as your channel is based on. I watch anything you post so for me it’s just an idea to throw at you.
