Great album, this intro is incredible made me feel the same way i felt when The Fool dropped, hard af Edit: bladee is just the goat, I'm seriously convinced that he applies philosophy (like phenomenology) to how the makes music and is tapped on to an extent that almost nobody else has reached through just intuitively understanding music. Look up mandalas and how they're used in meditation, albums like 333 and The Fool are similar to those w/ symbols (take a word and give it meaning) arranged in a temporal order rather than spatial relation in an image This whole wave of affiliated artists makes music that, if you buy in, nothing can top it. And then the more they build on the drain lore/themes and reference themselves, the potential only grows. Bladee created a group for whom his music hits like the traditional music of one's home country after years in a foreign nation
@@swervin6422 this might grow on me massively but the fool is my favorite project bc of it's thematic coherence, total consistency, the themes themselves, the trance-y prod, and prolly also bc of the time in my life it dropped. Shits just perfect for me, no joke listened to it on repeat for 4-6 hours a day everyday during work for about 3 months after it dropped 😂 went over a year without missing a day playing it in its entirety
Definitely onto something in regard to him using philosophy as a basis for his music, there’s a certain perspective and energy to it that’s almost like teaching you a lesson
Appreciate that feedback Brodie, I really try and listen to the music and lyrics not just vibing out. I know certain artists have deeper context to their music
Damn bro im sorry I didn’t know you’d be this cool and actually into the music on your reactions I judged a book by its cover thinking you’re like some other reactors that listen to this on the surface level all serious but you actually get it you just gained a loyal viewer my boy🙏🏼 bout to go watch all your reactions
Appreciate the feedback Brodie!! I’m a music geek bro I definitely understand the deeper context behind a lot of music, there’s more to it a lot of the time
undeniable goat no one else does it like bladee ☝️i hope its not his last album but also hope more that he gets better mentally, dudes really going through it
Ngl there’s a really good main stream edm/house scene with people like Skrillex and Fred again.. you should check it out some time. Fred again..’s boiler room is fucking legendary
Lotta the appeal is the lyrics brudda 👍 Lotta callbacks to older projects n other spiritual shi and mental health stuf there. Also these Sweden mfs been at it since 2013 and used to be heavily inspired by chief keef (DJ kenn would prod for them) So they alr got a decade of established fans Not for everyone tbh but shiii I fw it 😭
He’s trashhh. How do people gas blade up this much when he goes off beat every other bar. I get the idea and think he has some potential in most of the songs but it doesn’t help when his voice is trash too 😬😬 tl dr was solid though I’ll give him that
Him going off beat makes him different and special. There are 1000s underground rappers and they all sound the same, bladee sounds like no one else that’s why he has a small but very dedicated following
