this sounds like it was written by chat gpt and edited by someone who has never listened to a bladee project all the way through… avp not even mentioned
The images at times don't align with what is conveyed, a complete lack of novel information, spelling errors, and an overall irrelevant title to the the video.
Bladee sits in a very comfortable position as an independent artist. There’s this hard to achieve level in the industry where you can get publishing/licensing deals while never needing to sign over your entire discography or sign entirely as an artist. The reason its so hard to do this is because you need to prove to majors that you can consistently drop projects that will always do streams, and keep a cult fan base. And because he always continues to prove that, he’ll always retain his creative control. You’ll never see anyone from Drain/SB ever give up creative control and thats whats so special about them. They sign over their projects, but not their careers. One of the smartest ways to move as an independent and all of them have been using the same strategy for ~5 years. Basically, make a project, have your management pass around the project in the industry for you, sign over the licensing, make racks, and best of all RETAIN CREATIVE CONTROL 💯
before drain there was gravity boys. bladee always been around just not as big as he is today sad boys and gravity boys hung out a lot back then u can even catch bladee in a lot of the earlier lean interviews and vlogs. not a fan as i used to be but he def deserves the recognition lot of yall just think bro came up out of nowhere.
Bladee is spiritually fit and spreads positivity through his music!! I am grateful for drain gang. Note how the artists mentioned do the exact opposite and rarely ever mention God and the positive aspects of the human spirit. the reason bladee is so popular is the same reason the mainstream doesn't push his music the way they do other artists... its because bladee gives his listeners hope in a power greater than themselves!!
3:02 bladee using his voice as an instrument is a perfect way to say it and why i love bladee, some of my fave bladee songs idek the lyrics to because hes an instrument not just a singer
It's just wrongfully said. An voice is An instrument. I think you guys mean he uses his voice like another instrument FOR the beat, and not just on the beat.
What does this have to do with a contract with Sony Music which is in the thumbnail and didn't mention why the industry hates him which is the title of the video.
This video is more summarising his discography and bio than it is talking about industry politics. Maybe re-name the video short essay/analysis or something. Kinda just read out loud what a google search could tell you.
bladee music will change your life forever fr, the best music I've ever heard, something I always needed, but I wasn't realising it, pure love and emotions
I saw a few days ago when Spotify Rewind dropped that Bladee is the #1 most listened artist by Spotify for Artists users (ahead of JPEGMAFIA, Alchemist, Ken Carson & Destroy Lonely) The industry might hate him but the influence he has on other artists is undeniable
@@fifanmennensubladee is the most listened-to artist by accounts that are tied to Spotify For Artists. It’s an app that lets you track and customize your own releases. Basically artists tend to enjoy more bizarre or unorthodox art. Which isn’t new, Kurt Cobain enjoyed some weird shit
@@fifanmennensu Spotify for Artists is the version of Spotify made for artists, where they can upload their songs, manage their artist accounts and actually stream songs too Spotify released a Spotify for Artists rewind to get a glimpse of what Artists themselves are listening to, and the most streamed male artists by artists in 2023 was Bladee
any one correct me if I'm wrong but I think Bladee would work with WOD through the colabs and relationship him and Yung Lean built with Black kray and kane grocerys who offten worked with filthy & WOD.
@@waltertownshend5662 chill out man it’s clear he’s not a bladee fanatic or anything just a RU-vidr tryna make a vid plus i dont gotta mention every interaction theyve ever had
@@sev5449 nugga tf u talkin bout Sigmund Freud pfp having mf u should go and watch a 5 hour analysis of Pythagoras philosophy headass... bladee has the most autistic fans out there ong
U need to do ecco n thaiboi, just the facts are really hard to find especially if you're aiming for originality and not jus regurgitated facts so many other youtubers mimic from eachother. Watched tons of drain content this actually captivated me in a while. im high as shit sorry
Really great video bro i hope you keep making more of these i love any drain related research and lore etc. (gattsu blew tf up from it saw it 1st hand good formula atm) in no way telling you how to run your channel paha i mean just there seems to be a gap in the market as a youtube cripple by that i just watch music bc im a physical crip-ple big up fellow brit!, deffo worth the sub if you continue your whole lotta drain shit man
Teezo is kind of perfect to put on for a verse and his random background noises. Also he has said that he's incapable of saying no to people and that's part of why he's featured so often
Very good video, well researched and presented with passion. I'll just give a few minor constructive nitpicks: 1) I would have liked if you gave context to the streaming numbers of the projects you mentioned, for instance when you said "Gluee" performed "great" and racked up over a million stream on every song on Spotify, I don't know if I would necessarily agree with saying it "performed great", when it took damn near a decade for the project to rack up those numbers. When "Gluee" came out literally nobody knew about it, it was super niche. Or when you say that "Working on Dying performed great, and every song racked up over three millions streams", it makes it sound like all of those stream came in relatively quickly after release, maybe in a 3-6 month period, when really it took 6 years. 2) Similar to the first point, you said Red Light "racked up streams" and that 2018 was just more linear rising for Bladee, when it really wasn't. Red Light got a pretty mixed reception, and some very negative reviews, notoriously theneedledrop gave it a 1/10 rating, with a scathing review. After dropping Red Light, Bladee hinted at quitting music, he tweeted a couple months after the release of the album something along the lines of "Boys, it has been a good ride, but this is the end of the road for me". (Some people took this as him hinting he would kill himself lol). 3) He was featured on another Skrillex song, "Ceremony", with Yung Lean 4) Again the number comparisons are kind of disingenuous, Teezo's album came out three months ago and it's already pushing a million streams on most songs, whereas most of Bladee's albums absolutely did not reach those kinds of numbers in the same timeframe, especially the older projects. Bladee has reached that level now though. Bladee is awesome and your video was good, keep it up.
nah this video was certainly not well researched, numerous flaws and was mostly just rehashed general knowledge about bladee and some dangling extraneous thoughts on why his music isn't popular
nobody hates bladee, he's the real god the real goat the real Jesus, he came to earth to teach to bring knowledge, HOW CAN ANYONE HATE THIS ANGEL???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????W
