I left Fuji for Panasonic a few months ago and miss that unique feeling of taking photos that no other camera brand offers. Unfortunately, Fujifilm makes you pay dearly for this feeling, dream cameras like the X-Pro3 or X-100V are too expensive for me. I will buy an X-H1 again, which I already had 2 years ago. An X-Pro3 is certainly much nicer and easier to handle, but costs at least € 1300 in good condition, an X-H1 is already available for € 500!
I pretty much love every x series camera. They all have their uses. In terms of being able to change the lens and using whatever you can get ahold of, this is better. But the simplicity of the x100v and how compact it is also serve a great purpose. Not that this xpro isn't small compact itself... The answer is get one of every Fuji x 😂
@@Mikivlias someone with an xpro-3, it’s slightly more powerful and of course you have way more lens options. Gives you more of the old film DSLR feel than a point n shoot feel. You sacrifice some weight and size though as the Xpro series is larger
@@MadLadsAnonymous X-T5 is worlds better than the X-Pro3. Not only price but also quality features and video performance. Only thing is it's a little bit larger than the X-Pro3.
If you only work with a 23mm f/2.0, 35mm full frame, need a flash but not too flashy and experiment with a neutral density filter every now and then because X100V has it built in, then the answer is absolutely not! You should definitely get the FUJIFILM X100V my best friend has one and I’ve seen what you can do with the camera… you can even take beautiful macro shots with it because you can get so close to your subject and it’s very sharp! I envy him!! I envy him so much!!! I own an X-T4 16-80mm f/4.0 myself.
x100 cameras make me regret not getting an X-Pro. I ended up getting X-T series cameras. ...but I'm sooo looking forward to the X-Pro4! ...but can I wait until 2025?
@@KylerSteele it's about the "clarity" setting. Try setting it to zero and you'll never see this "storing" screen again. Works for almost every Fuji camera. This setting can be really useful for portraits, but in everyday life you barely need it. So just turn it off.
No way. If i want a body/lens ill bring my a74 and the grip of glass i have for it. The 100v frees you from all of that. Its the simplicity of it thats is its biggest advantage.
@@KylerSteele Ive heard it helps if you never flip it open fully. So never more than you see in the video. But im very happy with my X100V now , i do sometimes miss my 35mm 1.4 such a magic lens
It’s processing a raw to jpeg. There’s a “clarity” setting that mimics diffusion filter. You can turn it off and just add it in to the photos you like later
