The decision is not as easy as you'd imagine. There's rust and it's missing parts. but there are positives, too. Let's do this! Edited by VideoGuru:videoguru.page...
My responses have been almost dead-even between buy or not! I've decided that I'll only get it if I have a buyer for it immediately. The perfect plan would be to load it and drop it off at the buyer's house shortly afterward. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Fer $200... Only a person incapable of being a person would pass up such a awesome steal of a deal that is. 6.2L diesel gm trucks usually have a rear end worth 600 used. An I know fer a fact alot of farmer types love the 6.2L diesels. Even if it don't run its worth more than 200 itself. An you got those mirrors, if any good, I had recently paid 180 dollars to have apair shipped to me in northern Georgia from Canada because I couldn't find any here that wasn't all messed up.
I can assure you, I've had lots of experience at being a person! lol The owner requested a few days to get his engines out of the bed. After that, I'll be going to pick up the pickup. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I absolutely agree with the value of time and labor, especially when it's summer in Florida. I think I'll make sure I have an immediate buyer before getting it. That way, all I have to do is load and unload it. lol Thanks for watching and commenting!
It's basically a parts truck at this point. I think the rust makes it unsafe for road use. I'm wondering if I could make enough on it to warrant working in 93-degree heat and investing the time in it. That's a lot of labor. I think the best scenario would be to sell it whole as a parts vehicle. What do you think? Thanks for watching and commenting!
Hey it's got a half tank of fuel 😅 But unfortunately it's sat around a while. The IDI diesel is good for the apocalypse since it is not a electronic ignition.
Been there, done that! lol I've done that in the past, but only with vehicles that were obviously money-makers. This truck is worth approximately what the owner is asking. I'm not into buying cars to break even, ya know? I like to have a good chance at success from the beginning. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I did A LOT of work on 6.2 Diesels. It's a good Motor. Probably need to get the Injector Pump rebuilt but, it'll be worth sum $ 20+ years from now just cuz there's so few of them left. The US Army had A TON of them. 189k ain't nuthin on that 6.2 Diesel.
