Of the numerous trips and videos I've made with Ryotaro, I think this is probably my favourite. We were lucky to travel across a very beautiful region and see and do so much, and in terms of filming and editing it, I tried to take us one step closer to being a poorly quality TV channel, as opposed to an edited vlog. (Although unfortunately no drones this time and I know you love your drones). One of the best things about filming and travelling is you get to learn so much every time you pull out the camera, given the practical nature of it all - there's something exciting about constantly looking for new angles and perspectives on things that people cover all the time. BUT anyway enough of me pretending to sound profound, as if I'm more than just a RU-vid vlogger person! Enjoy the video guys.

I love that you do videos of the snowy side of japan. I feel that others make one video to let viewers know that snow occurs in japan, and your videos are always so informative and entertaining.

I would like to say one thing right now, as I pause this video. I found your RU-vid page late last week after my youngest son and I starting talking about visiting Japan for like this hundredth time. I am really enjoying your videos on traveling around Toyko, eating the different foods and this one as well. I am getting some really good ideas on places to visit when we finally finalize the trip.

Woah Chris! That's some great quality documentary! It's not about vlogging anymore, that's some VICE-tier stuff.

What's this disdain for VICE for? They make good documentaries. Chris is a vlogger generally, so I don't see how comparing him to probably one of the most known massive names in youtube documentary scene is an insult. I know you're all probably kidding, but I'm interested in why VICE is considered bad.

sw sw VICE is propaganda and it's disgusting. Chris makes art that's informative and inspiring. Huge difference between the two.

The staircase to the top of the Statue of Liberty has the same double spiral design. You climb to the top, take in the view from inside the crown, and climb down, and the two ways never cross.

I just discovered your series and am thoroughly enjoying watching. I lived in Sapporo for a year zuuuto mae. The images of winter in Japan and wonderful hot bowls of ramen make me long for those days. While watching your shenanigans I feel like I'm witnessing the strange and wonderful blend of Anthony Bourdain, Eddy Izzard and Ron Weasley on my screen. Thank you for the fun and entertaining looks into little know aspects of Japan.
