Is this Kyoto's best cafe? | 外国人の彼女が京都の話題のカフェに行ってみた [KS VLOG]

今日は京都にある「Coyote Coffee」というカフェを訪れました。このカフェは、中米・エルサルバドル産のコーヒーのみを扱うコーヒーブランドです。 1年以上、生産者と共に農園で過ごしたバイヤーが、信頼できる生産者、輸出業者と直接やり取りし、買い付けたコーヒーのみを使用し、高品質なだけでなく、生産者の人となり、産地の風景などカップに注がれるまでにコーヒーが辿ったストーリーと共にコーヒーをお届けしているそうです。このカフェを知ったきっかけは日本のテレビ番組「YOU は何しに日本へ？」でメルボルン出身のカップルがここのコーヒーを飲むために京都まで来ていました。それに触発されて私たちもそんなにいいものなのかと疑いやって参りました。
Today we visited a café in Kyoto called Coyote Coffee, a specialty plant-based cafe using sustainable import and production of El Salvador coffee beans from local suppliers. We had heard about this café from a Japanese TV show called "Why did you come to Japan?", featuring a Melbourne couple that travelled all the way to Kyoto, Japan, to try the coffee from this specific café! Obviously, we had to see what all the fuss was about.
