I loved that some of the Burtons fans stayed behind and joined in with the celebrations ,some of them looked to be enjoying it as much as us,great footage
i know for a damn fact that at least 35 of thos in the away end were argyle fans :D dipshits couldnt get tickets at home! so they bought a bunch of away tickets! funny as fuck!!!!! :D thanks for the video, a great quality vid
Congratulations Plymouth, really have worked so hard and been consistently putting the performances in. Well deserved and good luck. The community spirit around everyone's football club, local, non-league or even efl is something I really admire. Good luck for next season 👍
Great video . Thanks for posting . Burton did themselves proud and fought hard, total respect to them and the fans who travelled down, especially to those who stayed on to watch our celebration and applauded... Football. Many Teams One Family
Great video! I'm biased of course being an Argyle fan, but really enjoyed the fact you just let the atmosphere do the talking. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Nice footage. Used to travel up from Penzance to watch Plymouth (Div 3) in the 70's, reminded me of the league cup semi against Man City (Div 1), the place was rocking with a +20,000 crowd. Ended 1-1. Remember Francis Lee ?, he was barracked by the Argyle fans, it was very funny, he got a bit rattled.
Yep i was there. Afternoon kick off because of power cuts during the era of coal mining strikes and the 3 day week. The dockyard shut down completely for the afternoon so i remember heading to home park via several pubs en route starting with the avondale.
COYG..Plymouth .back where we belong.. are you watching... Sheffield Wednesday....one day the media bods might give us a bit of respect....some good performances from Burton inc Etty Fairweather...COYG......hats off to the Southampton guy that put this video together, thanks mate !
Plymouth and Ipswich Town are as strong as any team which has ever been promoted from League 1. Championship should hold no fears for either. ATVB. Luton fan in 🇺🇸
Lt me tell you short story. Argyle fan since 1974. My 2 daughters born in Plymouth in 1977 and 1981. Now live in near Reading, Berkshire. Got last minute ticket for Bristol Rovers game and stood in Row A at the Devonport End. Tried for tickets for Burton. No luck. Argyle fan scene suggested getting one from the Burton ticket office to sit in the Burton end. Success. My partner and I sat discreetly in Row A of the Barn Park end with Burton fans. Most around me knew I was an Argyle supporter. And then the goal. Not the right thing to do, but I jumped off my seat, punched the air and was threatened by a couple of their fans for not supposing to be there. I promised a steward that I would sit quietly for the second half and I did only on the final whistle to enter the pitch. All in all, I took a chance, witnessed more Argyle history, then headed 200 miles back to Berkshire. What a day. And I loved the video was clearly shot from just behind where I was sitting!!!!!
Well done on getting the ticket. I once watched Argyle away against Swansea, when I worked up in Cardiff. My mate was a Swansea fan, so we sat in their end. Shilton saved a penalty and I couldn't stop myself from celebrating, but there was no aggro at all.
@@tristanturner4920 There was also an Argyle fan who also bought a ticket from Burton Albion and bought and wore a yellow Burton shirt as not to draw attention to himself and his safety. God knows what he did when Argyle scored as I can't believe he didn't jump in the air as I did. I did notice him standing in the vacated Burton end and wondered why the hell he hadn't disappeared with the rest of them and then he told me his story. Magical. 😃
@@tristanturner4920 I can't say I spotted him. I left all of my green attire in the car as I did not want to draw attention to myself and get chucked out by the stewards. As it was, I almost was for my goal celebration in the front row in view of all of the Burton fans behind me😃
What an atmosphere I’m at around 5.20 in green shirt black cap checking the stats on my phone 😂 right up at the divide the burton fans were great, all smiles and good vibes
What a nice video, thanks for posting. I thought Burton were a strong team, we could easily have slipped up yesterday. Did anyone think our goal was (yet another) deflection? The defender seemed to show distress, maybe it caught his leg, hard to tell.
Great video looking at it from a different perspective feels even more surreal I still can’t believe it you have earned a subscriber mate great job keep up the great content
Great video. Been an Argyle fan for 24 years but born in Burton so always a strange fixture for me. Such a big day for the club after the misery for many years. Just hope we can establish ourselves in the championship without the spending power that others have.
As a season ticket holder in the Devonport end it was great to see the crowd reactions from that perspective. and so good to have it done with a steady hand. Excellent vlog mate. Hope not to see the Saints next season cos I like em and Le Tiss is one of my few true footballing icons, but it looks likely now.
Thanks for the kind words mate glad you enjoyed it and have that to look back on such a great day. Look forward to playing you guys next season it’ll be fun 😀
Of course the atmosphere is good when their doing well it comes with the territory. Go to midtable teams home grounds on matchday the attendences are down and the atmosphere is flat as theres sod all at stake,, most who go are going to get out the house and talk to other lads in the boozer or the ground during the game.
Hopefully, Rovers will move to the 14-acre Fruit Market site, once it is sold off. An all-purpose stadium with an initial capacity of twenty thousand is .mentioned. We shall see after all the wait for a new one has only taken roughly forty years!!
