It was bit irrelevant, then I thought may be it was because that tiny leaf from that divine tree had some power, so it touched that stick to transform it into Vijay Dhanush like awakening some weapon which Bhairava uses just for that moment specific moment jisko dekh ke Ashwaththama is in dilemma believing this guy is his old friend Karna, but aisa actually nahi tha as he comes back to his consciousness and does what he thinks is right and kidnaps SUM-80. But but but..this is going more intense. When they showed that Mahabharat scene...I realised one more thing. Karna got his Vijaya Dhanush from Lord Parshuram which he had received from Lord Shiva. Could that mean Bhairav is a combination of Karna and Lord Shiva? But wait, he was the demon Dambhodbhava before incarnating as Karna. Also, it is said in scriptures that several of the great warriors of the Mahabharata and Ramayana are going to be reincarnate or Reappear in the final war of good and evil, most expectedly to play heroes or antagonists, but surely not villains again...Possibly, Nag Ashwin has taken this source as his base for all the characters and story that he is supposed to create now. Personally I feel the concept of the reincarnation of karn was bad and messed up the story. The reason I think this is because after watching a lot of explanation videos that explain Karns reincarnation as a redemption arc I get pissed. He didn’t need a redemption arc. His death and final conversation with krishn was the redemption. By calling I that it undermines all the experiences karn went through mostly bad including the murder of his brother. Perhaps a better reveal might have been showing bhairava as karns decendent rather than karn himself or a chosen one by bhagvan Kalki.

My theory: karn was given this vijay dhanush from parashuram and parashuram got this dhanush from mahadev himself. So technically mahadev or parashuram can activate that weapon. Now we know that parashuram is chiranjeevi and hanuman is also chiranjeevi also hanuman is rudraavatar of mahadev. So might be hanuman as well. And if not hanuman or parashuram.
