I don't know if that's always true. The Hisoka vs Chrollo fight started on the 2nd chapter of one of returns. He used one chapter to wrap up something with Kurapika and sudenly shifted focus. Also after the fight he skiped like a month and went straight to the whales departures. I respect the man but i do think maybe he should hurry a bit. He introduced so many characters and made this whole situation so complicated i worry if he keeps this pace this arc will never end and won't get to the dark continent

The only thing he's done for that would be I guess the cover page with Yusuke on it to appease fans

I think Togashi created nen because he liked stands but wanted them to be consistent, have clearer rules and make more sense. jojo is clearly an inspiration

@@dantecrottogini529 HxH power concept is basically combining qualities of Jojo stands and qualities of DBZ ki, and make the result elaborate, intelligent, and consistent. Unlike those two inspirations. So it's literally the best of two worlds as it's flexible enough to allow "stand like" abilities (Razor's clown dolls) and conventional energy abilities (Razor's energy volleyball spike). Razor's example is interesting as he's a single character that can operate with both "styles".

Jojo is an obvious inspiration and big influence on Togashi since Yuyu Hakusho. It started after Jojo's stands were introduced in 1989.

Yeah it is complex and easy to forget things or miss details. I watched some HxH recap videos and they helped me learn new things i never realized from my first read.

Hisoka is probably shapeshifting though, how would he reconize him?

@@imawarrior3516 I think he means the fact that with post mortem nen, his ability to manipulate his nen aura (gum and rubber) allows him to change features, and make them very realistic.
