This is easily the best break down of this on the internet currently. There are others, but they all skip past the set up needed for the story. Other videos just tell you that Ging and Pariston had an esoteric conversation, this is the only one I've seen that actually goes over the motives of Kurapika joining, good job!

The Dark Continent is something I always find myself coming back to and looking up no matter how much time has passed. It’s just beyond fascinating to me that a world like that exist, and even more that we learned about it at the end of the Gons story. Something about it just makes me think of our own world and what else is undiscovered, and what other kind of dangers there are in the Dark Continent. In my opinion a massive world beyond the world we already know, full of monsters and mysteries has to be one of the most interesting stories I’ve ever heard of in anime.

This arc took me a solid month to get through because of how much dialogue and complexity was packed into these chapters. While I love this story I feel like there should have been more time to flesh out this information as I just got barraged with so much info that I immediately had to watch an hour long video just to make sure I caught everything I needed going into the next arc

You're amazing Btw, the best nen users can slow down their aging, I believe Netero was more than 120 years old (according to the posts I've seen, but I remember more legit info on him being much older). I imagine the Freecs ancestor on the dark continent might have been so strong to stop the aging completely or he might've found something that made him immortal like that Zombae virus

Leario is my favorite character. He is a great friend to gon and the rest of the cast and shows it many times in the series and also is a decently strong nen user and was able to upper cut ging with a satsifying "bang" sound which is one of my favorite parts in the series.

I would like to see the ocean outside the dark continent, as well as the other continents on the planet. But still though it's crazy how the countries in lake mobius is just a collection of huge continents; inside an enormous lake, which is in the center of a many times more enormous continent; which dwarf the lake at it's center. I wanna see the other continents on the surface of the planet, or is it just the Dark continent with the rest of the planet covered in water.

I fundamentally disagree. I don't think that this manga in particular has to be 100% complete (especially under the circumstances) to be considered the GOAT. Honestly, it still trumps nearly every other story that's completed. HxH is a bonafide masterpiece without being finished. I just wish it had been finished so perhaps people like you guys would stop holding that little bias that you have against it. And give it the credit that it's due. Because of Togashi's health, and more than anything.... STUBBORNNESS, We'll never get an ending in our lifetime. And unfortunately, the way it's looking, it seems Togashi will probably pass away and someone else will try and finish it. Which will totally suck. I think that's why he released the possible A,B,C, and D endings to the story. HxH should've been the longest running series of our generation. Instead, we're left with that crap One Piece.

IT IS CRAP! Plain and simple. I don't care HOW MANY people watch it. It doesn't matter. I don't like popular things just because it's a trend or the "It thing." No, I like things for the fundamental substance it brings ME personally. A great example of this is where people do the exact same thing with Demon Slayer. People hate it because, "it's only good because of the animation." Or my favorite, "people only like it because it's the most popular anime out now." Ironically, that popularity thing is the reason why they like DBZ, OP, and all 5hose other nostalgic shows. They can't move to anything else new without the, "yEaH bUt CaN tHeY bEaT gOku?" Cliche. So I could care less about other's opinions because they actually don't care about mine. But just like them, I'm well entitled to voice my own. And I always will.

Togashi just released the endings of the manga and it has A B C and D options he stated in tv interview that if he suddenly die the D option would be the ending he also said that the last opinion is what he really wants..
