Backup and clone the sd card ASAP. Those cheap stock sd cards corrupt easily and stop working

I just got my gf’s kid one these for xmas cuz he doesnt know much about retro gaming. Has lota games i want on my nes and snes ill never be able to afford cuz prices are insane on some them old games. But lota games i tried on it played fine so i think he will like it. Made me wana get one for myself tbh

The sound emulation needs work, on some games it's like a scratched CD.

"Croaky" is how I described it. Not sure if it's the sound emulation itself or just the whole console struggling.

The aspect ratio is wrong. That is a deal breaker for me.

Nice, but not even the older games seem to run at full speed and FPS! How is the emulation quality with Neo Geo games?

I think you may be right. Its in a small plastic case with no vents or fans so my expectations were fairly low - maybe I was a bit easy on it because of that? I may well do a like-for-like comparison with some other systems to see.

@@pixel_fandango The Amazon Firestick runs CPS2 and below perfectly with Retro Arch and FinalBurn, and it costs £20!

I totally hear what you're saying. This stick is not perfect but I will point out that, as well as the software and game images, you do also get 2 wireless controllers thrown in. For someone who just wants to plug and play without any downloads or research it might be ok?

Good video. I wonder if the software is licensed. That version of Elite Nintendo? Personally think a modded Wii is the way to go .

You should open the cases up and see what the guts are (what single board computer). That size it’s probably a pi 0!!!!

I suspect it is being pushed to (possibly beyond) its limits with some of the games. If you're not too ambitious with your game selection it's fine most of the time.

most TVs only put out 0,5A on the usb port, so the emulation device cant push the soc to the max. connect to a smartphone brick with at least 1,5A, better 2A and check the performance then. if still crap - then the device is crap ^^
