Let's talk about mindset and relationships with food.
Because one of the big things I see when it comes to ladies losing weight and starting diet plans...
Is the belief that they have to "ban" certain foods to lose weight.
Now, don't get me wrong here...
We absolutely have to manage nutritional intake and portion sizes.
That's a given for weight loss.
But altogether, banning certain foods from your diet and demonising them is causing a big issue in the bigger picture of your fat loss.
Because it creates a fear of those foods and makes you believe that eating them is stopping you from losing fat.
Or are causing you to gain it.
None of which is true.
Yes, certain foods are more nutrient-dense than others...
And we should seek to get as many nutrients in our diets as possible.
But not one single food or food group is directly turning off your fat-burning capabilities.
The sooner we realise that, the better.
Because living your life thinking you will never have a glass of wine or a bar of chocolate again is misguided.
So, let's start being kinder to ourselves when we have a glass of wine or a nibble on a bar of chocolate.
Please don't feel guilty about it.
Adding a few foods to your fat-loss diet that you enjoy can help with your adherence to it.
It's a tactic I implement with my ladies daily inside my program 👀
Feel free to drop me a message if you have any questions.
I'd be only too happy to explain further about why you should NOT be banning foods from your diet 🙂
