It's kinda crazy how Karel can still extract so much versus Josh around one lap (not to say that either rider is purely more skilled than the other, I don't either well enough nor am I an expert at anything in life). Of course Josh had never ridden this track and did spectacularly for his first time there. The difference at corner exit is minimal to none, as both riders are leaning on the gas on comparable bikes. However the difference in the braking zone and at the apex is insane. Karel is so much later to the brakes and can get the bike rotated so well, carrying insane apex speeds. I wonder if that is down purely to track knowledge. Was awesome to watch.

Solid just fekking solid moto content. I am going to test ride this thing all day this coming Saturday here in LA. I am a die hard fan of my Gen3 SuperDuke R (benchmark street bike for my taste) and have had lots of track time on 2018 PaniV4S, but never ridden a SF. Still looking for my next big bike. 44T FTW.

I've test ridden Streetfighter V4 back in 2020 when they first came out, including taking it up to it's top speed. I'll probably release the footage later. What really astonished me is the superb handling it has at any speeds, the ease of riding, and especially the unbelievable stability and maneuverability at high speeds, which I never encountered on any other motorcycles before (and I tested a lot of them). So, yeah, Streetfighter V4 is truly AMAZING bike in this sense. But at the same time it's extremely impractical, boring and uncomfortable (due to vibrations) to ride at sensible speeds, fuel thirsty because of the unreasonably high gearing, and very physically painful to ride at high speeds due to aerodynamic pressure pushing my helmet against my face. Therefore, my conclusion on Ducati Streetfighter V4: it is extremely cool and fun bike to take for a test ride for a couple of hours, but it's really not good and pointless bike to own and daily ride. And if you want a bike with almost the same level of handling, speed, and fun, but at the same time comfortable, practical, versatile, and awesome to ride almost everywhere - get a Multistrada V4 than. But that's for another story.
