Welcome to Addicted to Watches. Today we're looking at a fantastic-looking chronograph from a big Japanese brand, Orient. It's got a great design and offers a lot for a modest price tag. In fact, it might just be the best all-round chronograph you can get for under $150. This is the Orient WV0011TX.

Looks stunning. Orient now fills the gap Seiko left after moving more upmarket. Orient is hard to beat in the sub 200 usd market.

Absolutely. It's a shame Seiko keep trying to push their prices higher and higher but at least Orient is focusing a lot on that budget end of the market

Picked up a KAMASU SKU: RA-AA0005B19A on sale for $160 before tax. Like the black with gold trim, just wish orient give out a 2 year warranty vs a 1 year one.

Great price! A longer warranty would be nice but I haven't heard any bad things about the reliability of orients

It could just be the angle or it could be the low cost of the watch showing a bit with some less than precise application of lume

Most of the lume blobs on the dials don’t even line up with their approximately corresponding hour indicators. They should have just filled the indicators grooves with lume and let it go at that. But that might have cost them a dollar. But then again, Orient is all about visual clutter. That cheesy logo, for example. Legibility appears to be lousy, just based on the shots the reviewer shot. Painted counterbalances are gratuitous, confusing, and add to the visual clutter. What a hot mess.
