People complaining about the state of the room, have never been to Kavos... Kavos isn't a nice little town where you take the family and go back with some lovely memories. Those apartments are cheap because they're aimed at two types of people. 1 - workers. They just want a really cheap place to sleep. 2 - young people going on the piss. They room is for sleeping, shagging and getting changed before going out. If you want somewhere nice... try the Kavos Plaza; was really nice back in the early 2000's but still meant to be nice now.
My first holiday to Kavos was in a 2 star studio and it was a great holiday but the following year I upgraded to a 3 star and because we only slept and showered there and we went out all the time it .was great. Good memories , everywhere you walk I’m retracing my steps ha
If your only there to enjoy yourselves get pissed every night what does it Matty what the room is like. You will only used it for sleeping. Out all night partying and for 10 euros what young person would care ??
Deano "you get what you pay for" is true without question and I have honestly seen worse! But the level of cleanliness and hygiene is a worry. I have no idea what that yellow stuff in the fridge was, but if it is mold then that could easy spread and infect anything and everything within the fridge, even your bottled water. It is a no from me. Also, for that price, I am not surprised by the lack of privacy e.g. sharing the balcony. But for €8.45, it means you are not sleeping on the street. Pontins in the UK is MUCH worse than this but 10 times the price!
I stayed in that exact same room for 10 days in the summer of 2007. Those beds saw some serious action let me tell ya! :D After the holiday I got a job reppin on the strip, moved out of there to a bigger place for a while, finally ended up at a workers complex near thomas laundry. The strip was absolutely bouncin back then, it was complete chaos.. After the summer ended I moved to Thailand where I have been living since 2008. Still here, married and settled down about 10 years ago.. 2007 was the best summer of my life and blue sea studios (that's what your hotel used to be called) played a big part in that. The garden you walked past near the ping pong table used to be a swimming pool! We had some awesome pool parties in there as well : ) Thanks for the video fella, you took me on a well needed trip down memory lane!
I admire your commitment in achieving a bargain, Deano. Especially turning down the air con and then becoming a human buffet for mosquitoes. Although I think your biggest commitment so far is when you reviewed those 10p Iceland sausages. If that's not commitment, then I don't know what is. Another great review. 👍
Believe it or not I've stayed in worse in Greece, mind you it was 38yrs ago! Then you couldn't even put toilet paper down the loo and we had to share one hob with the next door neighbours as well as everything else in the kitchen! How that WAS grim! 😂😂
Just referring to what someone said on here. Try sidari in Corfu its absolutely beautiful. And lovely boat trips from there. (Love all your travel videos though) X
That looks so run down and not looked after I agree what you said I wouldn’t feel safe there at 37 let alone knowing my young son or daughter was there it’s quiet a while from the pool for families with kids aswell And a shared balcony is a no no from me my lord I wouldn’t go back or recommend this one at all x
NO body drinks the tap water abroad, even brushing your teeth and using tap water is risky. Stick to bottled water for everything. Do you book these holidays for the cheapest you can find or because of the bad reviews and you like to check them out ?
