To the non obnoxious spammers out there that this page wont do anything about. That has to be the closest win possible. She started 898 just before the buzzer. And Bob being Bob afterwards will never get old.
It literally does not get any closer than that... She barely started to say the correct price just before the buzzer began to sound. By rule, that's a W! This is the same contestant who would go on to have a chance at winning a Corvette in the Showcases. Also, this clip is from episode 5662D (3/26/85) not 5622D.
This is a pet peeve, when did English language start to get so badly used. The $ sign goes before the amount, not after. In French does it go after, not English.
Although she won, it was not the closest game ever. I have seen the lady who won both prizes in 10 seconds so whoever made this post doesn’t know what you’re talking about.
@@davidellis5141 With a difference of just $49 because the actual retail price of the Rustic Crafts electric ⚡️ fireplace 🔥 as the fourth IUFB was $674. And exactly when is Heidi Mountain ⛰️’s 50th birthday 🎉?
4:10 Holy crap does Bob give her a hard time about how she finished that second prize there. That's the thing about Bob Barker, especially in the 1980s and early-to-mid 1990s - he gets unnecessarily grumpy with contestants when things don't go his way. Looking back at it now, several decades later, it looks very cringe-worthy. (At least it wasn't Bob's own fault, like the whole "I wanna hear a little horn" incident on One Away...)
