That's one of the best plans I've seen for your $5k!! My daughter was recently talking about what she'll do when her income tax comes. I told her she should pur it in the bank and leave it there as a Mortgage bill cushion that she can dip into if needed to make "making ends meet" less stressful! Great Job!!

Especially when it comes to where you live!!! Because you can either keep it for rainy day or use it to make the payments coming up and be able to shift your focus.
