Actually look really great! But for the price why not add a DC controllable pump 😞. Think twice but buy once is a good zinger!!

I will never take skimmer advise from BRS again. A few years ago, they suggested Skimz, which I went out and bought from them. Here we are less than two years Later and I need parts, due to the built of Skimz. BRS don’t carry them nor can I find replacements parts online BRS suggested eBay when I called them. Let me tell you, I’m losing confidence in their recommendations.

Hey Garnett, Really sorry to hear that you feel let down. Skimz had some really nice and affordable skimmers. We even ran one on the BRS160 for years. Unfortunately, Skimz went out of business in 2020 and we were unable to reach them about replacement parts

I see metal screws, a special tool that will get lost and the intake pulling in the water that just came out of it. Some nice new features but not nice enough to put up with metal screws and special tools.

Italian made, titanium screws, removable neck from cup, small footprint for its capacity, reliable AC pump plug and play, very heavy duty (literally is heavy). It really is the last skimmer you need to buy. This Ultra Reef and the Nyos are the best skimmers money can buy. If you're on a budget, Aquamaxx is the best bang for buck. Happy reefing everyone.

Simply too expensive, Reef Octopus Elite series a lot better for almost half the price.

The goal here isn't to do a video on the products that make us the most money, but rather, the goal is to make a video for each of the products we sell (over 4000 sku's 😳) so that reefers can make an informed decision on the products they're buying for their tanks. If this skimmer isn't in your budget, we totally respect that! Let us know if you need help finding a different skimmer for your reef and we're happy to help. FYI, few years in this business and the hobby. Chinese trash products have highest margins which works as an incentive for reseller to push it to a customer. So next time a seller tells you unheard Chinese brand product works as good as a high quality product like this, SIMPLY RUN ( if it’s too good to be true, it probably isn’t )

Our goal with the spotlight videos is to do a video on each product we sell. This way, reefers can see it in action, get an idea of all of the features, and better decide if it's right for their setup/goals.
