I dislike the whole crew!!!! Renne and all her team are vile, unlikable and do not make good TV just watching because I saw all the other say yes to the dress!!!
Or perhaps she is accustom to the ENTITLED characteristics that she faces daily in that area! Guess you didn't notice the snarled look on the face on the first woman who's hand she shook sitting down, smh.
Right?! Who listens to their agent and what kind of agent discourages roles for their clients?! Putting on the dog, dropping names, then, I'm in a budget- screech 🥶
I just Googled what happened to this wedding shop. Apparently the owner lost a legal dispute with her own employees and then didn't pay the half million judgement she owed. The sheriff came in and cleaned out the entire inventory to sell and satisfy the debt. No more shop.
Good, glad the sheriff ceased all her stock!! I can see why she went under, tacky overpriced gowns and don't get me wrong, I love gay people but Kevin is just so frigging annoying and not FABULOUS at all!! 😕😕
@@ingridmckernan5102 that's what I was thinking! He's so rude in other videos to some of the brides, like he will insult the dress they love its just not it✋
There is a REAL opportunity for a designer to do a line of dresses that address the issues older women have with their upper arms. Having them covered with a short sleeve length and also a -to the elbow length would make a HUGE difference in presenting an older bride at her most beautiful.
Three quarters length sleeves look good on all brides of any age. Classy. Older women are still young at heart. Don't have to dress old. You are right. They need more/ better dresses for mature ladies and young ladies with oversized bust. Oversized bust do need straps.
Even in my twenties, I didn't like strapless. Everybody wants to dress like a pole dancer or a streetwalker. Why even bother with a wedding dress? Just go to Victoria's Secret and buy some pretty lingerie. Dignity, decorum, and good taste have left the building.
Really great comment, I so agree. Actually, sadly due to a doctor (MD) who said I had Lupus at age 22, which I did not, and then proceeded to overdose me on steroids I have striae or scars on my skin on my arms and elsewhere, so the beautiful "Eve of Milady" dress I tried on at Kleinfeld's when it was in Brooklyn, NY, had sheer, puff sleeves. I re-designed the sleeves to be Cinderella ballgown sleeves and lace on the forearm down to a French cuff (tapers to the ring finger). It looked magnificent with the white, organza, very full skirt and tight, corset top with Basque waist and Swarovski crystals and tiny pearls all over the bodice! I agree that you should find (or make) a dress that works for you. I liked the second dress she had on the best with the veil that covered her arms too!
Second bride with her $98 dress looked terrific. Even though the store owner went out of her way to tear it down. Refusing to tell the price of the gowns is so unfair.
When a shop refuses to tell me the price of what I am interested in, that’s my cue to leave. I find it disrespectful and a stranger has no right to determine what I am willing to pay.
nor do & while my choice is artisan breads or at least not the spongy sweet breads & rolls that are still.used in many ahome or restaurant here & actually they do.nit necessarily cost more because of their substance & actually.rather nice to .break pieces off for a snack with butter ! However bread ,a necessity for most if us , the staff of liife per se..has increased in price by a third
She went out of business. Sheriff siezed her entire inventory when she refused to pay a half million dollar judgement. Several employees successfully sued her because they weren't paid. The whole story is on the Internet.
@@AFAskygoddess Her business ethics came back to bite her. Plenty of business owners don’t realize how important their employees are or treat others with respect.
This is so unfair to the bride. ALL brides have some sort of budget even if they say it is unlimited. The only thing she could have said is this is my budget please don't show me anything over this price point.
Don't like them taking about her age n the group's age they are just girls like the rest of us.......and don't say 1400 is just a drop in the bucket for them that is so rude treat them like ppl not wallets
Kathryn needs a dress with sleeves. And the bouquet is just ridiculous. She needs a bouquet that is soft and floral to match the style of her classic dress.
I wouldn’t buy any dress from someone who refused to tell me the cost before hand so I could make a responsible decision. Even if it’s in Beverly Hills.
The first bride should have chosen a dress with a jacket, not necessarily one that was tailored like a suit, but one with a modern, unstructured look. She could have informed the shop owner of that decision ahead of the appointment, so that options would be ready for her to consider. All of those dresses she tried on were just wrong for her.
The 98$ dress looked better on her than the other ones she tried on and the older bride's friends were right, the 2nd dress looked best- it made her look absolutely beautiful, the tufted pillow one looked more like a "mother of the bride" dress on her :(
exactly, the first dress looked like a sofa- the second dress was best-- the third dress looked like a comforter for a bed. How sad is it that the Dress Shopping Interloper came in a derailed the appointment. Seriously, her "claim to fame" is that she is an ex wife of a cook, whatever; listen to the brides friends, they know her best.
I don't like the approach on when people like a dress, I have a price point don't try to get me in love with something over my budget. They are crazy....
Omg! The more I watch the more disgusted I become!! Why would you not tell your customer how much a dress is that they could fall in love with!? What if she can't afford it!? Smh. Not smart business lady.
Every dress she gave her to try was a sample from the sales rack. She just didn't want the bride to choose solely on price, as she did her first $98 dress. I love a good bargain too, but if I was super sensitive on price, the Beverly Hills bridal store is not where I would be shopping anyway.
Catherine’s dress that her friends liked…was the best! WOLFGANG’s ex should of looked at before making her decision. Trust your friends,Catherine- they told you right!
💜 ABSOLUTELY! THE DRESS SHE CHOSE WAS TERRIBLE 😔 AT LEAST THE 2ND DRESS LOOKED NICE ON HER, ESPECIALLY WITH HER VEIL. OMGOSH, THE DRESS SHE CHOSE WAS UGLY 😒
Personally, I totally agree that the second dress looked amazing on her. Especially, with the beautiful veil cascading over her arms. Having said that, she is a stunning woman and if the dress she chose was sincerely the one she preferred, blessings and congratulations to the lovely bride.
As an avowed East Coast woman who has lived her entire life in New York and London (England) watching this was as close to culture shock as one might get within one’s own country. It’s an entirely different world (and I happen to live in what’s called the most expensive zip code in New York. The taste, the mind set, the plastic surgery, the bling, the fake everything is just so over the top. The young woman who came with her $99 dress was absolutely beautiful. The gowns were lovely, stunning in fact. Too many over the top personalities. Not that they weren’t nice people for the most part…but why are they all dressed like that in the middle of the day. I don’t understand this hard sell mentality of not divulging a price before you chose your dress. That would never fly in New York. The shoes with rhinestones and feathers and platforms. Chubby ladies in skin tight trousers. Subtlety isn’t a watch word, that’s for sure. But they all seem happy enough and that’s great. This show just confirms that this part of the country is la la land and I could never be a California girl - it’s a lot of too much. Nice people, though, beneath the froufrou.
I have seen a few "Say Yes to the Dress" episodes in New York. I had to stop because the head dress master, I forgot his name, would dress all of the women in tulle, sequins, and feathers. It turned my stomach actually. Is that mostly made up for the show? I am sure most women have better taste than what he was trying to pull off. The reason I ask is because his dresses made these dresses look tame.
it is her job to sell HER merchandise- it isn't a bride club- also up close the first dress may be just fine and the silhouette is lovely but the fabric is lacking up close- this is an expensive community
@@naowright9308 I too am from the East Coast (New Jersey) and of course have NY within an hour and fortunately had my mother's great taste handed down to me! What L. Alexandra wrote I so agree with. Yes, the women did seem nice and supportive of their friend which I really liked, but the focus on appearance, plastic surgery, "Nuevo riche" attitude with money etc. not for me! I think the second dress the woman who is 60 had on was the most beautiful on her and the veil with lace over her arms was more flattering too. I actually got my wedding dress from Kleinfeld's when it was in Brooklyn, NY. So much of the Kleinfeld's TV show today is so over the top and for me so many of the dresses look like Las Vegas showgirls rather than a wedding dress.
It feels to me that the older bride liked the second dress but even at that age was influenced on the outside by someone who liked a lesser flattering dress. She looks nice in the third dress, but the second dress, on her, was superb especially with the veil.
YES! Sad that at her age she is still so influenced by the woman from Spago who came in. She didn't even see her in the second dress which is what her "friends" were trying to say. She looked so much getter in the second dress with the veil with lace over her arms!
I would get so annoyed with asking how much it is and them being like I can't tell you. I'm buying a product and products have price tags and I hate the over sentimentality clouding people's decision making the "it's your big day, this day only happens once, it's about falling in love with the dress, you want your future husband to be in awe" no stop putting me in stuff I can't afford then trying to get me emotionally invested in it
My daughter in law and I tricked my son, we left a bridal catalog, marked the ugliest dress, and left it where he would definitely look. He was totally surprised on their wedding day.
Oh, that's hilarious! I hope you and your daughter-in-law are continuing to giggle and plot *fun* tricks like that on your son -- nothing mean, just goofy, pleasant surprises, like that one.
Room 222 was on in the late 60s early 70s. It was not 30 years ago, it over 50 years. Judy Strangis is 70 something she looks absolutely amazing. She may have had a little face work done, but looks so natural and young. Beautiful.

Gok is wonderful!! I will ALWAYS remember his remarkable sensitivity helping a blind, red-haired young lady … “a fox in the snow”. It was so moving! If you haven’t seen it, try and find it; it’s totally worth it!
@@lc5929 her store was forced closed she was sued by her employees and owed them over 500000 dollars and she didn't pay so the police seized all her merchandise
I stumbled upon this show a few days ago. I've watched several episodes not because I like it, but just in disbelief at the toxicity of owner, her florist "friend" and clients. It's kind of like watching a horror movie. You want to watch it and close your eyes all at the same time.
??? Why does it matter how old it is. I still get recommendations on YT from things posted ten years ago. Once something is up, you can watch and post on it forever. There are no limitations.
I have never seen a collection of dresses that are all old fashioned, frumpy and over priced. I would never shop at a store like this, trying to push their overpriced merch on brides that confess they have a strict budget.
2nd bride loved the dress she chose good to see the staff in this case read the room well in terms of offering stock from the discontinued room. Lily looked lovely in it
The young bride looked amazing in the 89 $ dress. I would have never guessed this low price. The other bride should cover her arms, but with covered arms the dresses would look beautiful.
i think she’s beautiful either way and i truly think that. i obviously don’t know you but be careful not to project your own insecurities out on to others like this. especially out loud where little girls could see and feel bad about their arms too💪💪
The third dress the 60 year old bride tried on was perfect: it moved the eye up to her shoulders away from her upper arms which quite definitely show her age, was more age appropriate and the lines were more flattering to her figure. IMO she is far to old for the first 2 dresses and remined me of mutton dressed as lamb. Those 2 dresses are for younger brides. She looks very well for her age but she is still her age.
She is good looking, and has a nice figure and a very pretty face. If I had were her, though, I would want to cover my upper arms. (This is why I keep doing push-ups.)
My wedding dress was £120 as it was all I could afford 19 years ago, my wedding was well under a £1,000 as again all we could afford at the time, no meal, buffet and friends and family took pics and gave them to us. It was not what I wanted at the time but it was the right time to do it as my dear mum passed away suddenly 2 months after I was married. It was a thrown together but thank goodness we went ahead with it when we did. 19 years married in January this year.
The mother of the bride with the $95 dress looks so much like the actor Shirley Knight, who played Helen Hunt's mother in "As Good As It Gets". She also has the same sweet way about her.
I used to work in a very high end, expensive boutique in Chicago. When women are used to shopping at a place like that they don’t care about price. And their taste gets warped so you can sell them more bizarre stuff and they don’t blink. They are in competition with other rich, “ ladies who lunch” not normal working people. Whole different world. But these dresses aren’t really expensive. The third one on older woman was $1500. Try watching Kleinfeld in NY. Now those are some beautiful expensive dresses. The dresses at this BH location are cheap and ugly looking.
Dang! Crystal bags?! I'm in the wrong business! Edit: Okay, the bride that is a comedian is pretty funny at the end. I'm fav'ing this video just for that. lol
Deciding for her that she wasn’t allowed to know the prices of the dresses is disrespectful as fuck. Reminds me of my first bridal appointment where they didn’t carry a single white dress, because they decided it didn’t look good on anyone, so I was only able to see myself in ivory. The point of the consultant is to advise, not make decisions for you.
I couldn't even finish watching this. I don't think I would wear one of their dresses if they gave it to me. Reminds me of the salespeople on Pretty Woman.
she should've just said "he doesn't want to be on camera" and people wouldn't be so curious to dox the undercover officer. the show should remove that comment. *For his safety*
I don't know what's wrong with that shop. Styles are so dated, even the owner and the consultant. Opinions are weird about age, style, budget. Generally it feels like it jumped out of the late 80s. Not good.
The girl marrying the cop is a hoot! I loved Lilly's dress, but the gal who creates S Crystal bags? Yeah- no. The ladies were ALL correct. Ms. Spago apparently is used to getting her way. Or is that- in the way?
our daughter chose a blush pink dress, groom had blush pink tie and silver grey vest, and we have a blush pink antique car with lots of silvery chrome that they used for the getaway car!
I love what she said when she said I think the $98 dress should be burned the other dress she put on that she picked look unbelievable I hope she has a wonderful wedding day and a wonderful new life with her fiance she's such a pretty bride.
