Thank you for being honest about your experience with that campground. It's nice to get the details of the actual work the owner is wanting and the question to ask.
We've learned that you also need to interview the campground owner/manager as well. Ask them for references to previous work campers so you can get a different opinion on how the campground is managed.
Thank you! It's a blast and most parks are awesome. Life is short so if you're unhappy with the situation, your home is on wheels, you can go somewhere else.
finally a useful channel. People running out of ideas for youtube channels. Too many channels with women with few clothes on to create youtube clicks. useless videos
I just came across this video. Nice to finally see a video about some of the issues you can have work camping. Good for you you got the heck out of there. Im subscribing to your channel. Very honest and not corny. Your boys there are sure cute little guys. By the way the music you play on your channel is really good. Especially the first song at the beginning of the video. Would you be able to tell me know the name of it?. Im gonna keep watching. Hope all is going good
Kids playing in dirt, digging for worms....ah I remember those days! ✔️👌 way back when! Bet your kiddos have great immune systems, and all such cuties! Great lessons for them too, know your worth-be nice and don’t take no BS from no body👍
He definitely does. But some people don't want to believe that they are the reason. It was a learning experience for us but we are so glad we found the position we are in now.
We have learned to get everything in writing before hand and to reach out and find past work campers for reference. One thing we learned when taking a tree lot job was that it's good practice to ask the employer for references to reach out and talk to past employees.
@@HayesHumbleHomestead this mom and pop park don't put anything in writing. I was actually a guest at the rv park last year and met all the work campers. I did sense discontent. Btw when I showed up, all of the other work campers quit. Did not show up. 😒
We considered it a swap for the time we put in. We just wanted to be out of there and didn't want to go back and forth about any of it. The owner of the park was fine with it
Hi you all! Just found you on here and wow! I am just getting started as a retiree into this life style and have applied to several in Iowa. Can you maybe steer me clear from this place ? I would be forever grateful . Safe travels and may we meet on the road !
I have an offer for a workcamp job that starts in 2 wks for my spot n electric/water. Id be quitting a job to go to it cuz I need a place to stay 4 the summer, I'm worried more now🤔
I just left this place only it was in Pennsylvania funny ??????? Been work camping four years and never had issue's like this. Good luck on your adventures
You guys are so lazy it's hilarious 😂. Why are yall pulling into the trucks entrance at the truck stop? Just because yall got a million dollar pickup and camper combo does not mean you use the trucks entrance. That's for interstate commerce only. Yall are jamming up the nations food and medicine shipments. That's not the life for yall.
It's ok for you to have different expectations that we do. We simply don't tolerate disrespect and that's the issue with this workamping job. Not just to us, but to all of the staff that was there. As far as our truck and trailer, definitely nowhere close to a million dollar rig. But that has nothing to do with it anyway. Most fueling stations aren't designed for bigger trucks and trailers and can become a safety issue because they don't have the clearance to be able to get in an out. Where should those trucks fill up? As far as holding things up, on the truck side, things move very quickly. We weren't holding anyone up. And why would I be able to get a fleet card to use those pumps if I wasn't supposed to be using them? Thinking that we all need to be divided by x, y, or z is where things fall.
