1. You have to move the grass after trimming it. 2. Circle meets square. Corners aren’t able to be cut.. maybe try coming in vertically? All else fails put some weed killer in those spots. 3. It will dull, and you have to buy a new head ($300+) or replacement parts. So it’s not cost effective. So long as you are ok with all that, then it’s a great option.
@gilsthyname256
@gilsthyname256 Месяц назад
Tbf his grass is really long so moving it isn’t exactly the biggest thing, and some people are willing to sharpen the blades themselves idk how but if some will do a chain on the chainsaw I’m sure this is no different. it’s not for me but I can see people using this unique tool

100000% .. The biggest advantage I see is that it doesn't shoot hard objects (including the plastic line breaking off which hurts as much as rocks do) at your face all day. Now my face is fully protected with a full face plastic mask (that were popular during COVID) and my ear muffs. Ear muffs protect in two ways. Lower decibels and protect ears from flying objects from the weed whacker. With this I'd only need the ear muffs.

Based on what I just saw, if you moved it onto grass, you're cutting it. It did not fail in that respect. Except for edges of course. So if you just trusted the device, you wouldn't need to go over any area twice, other than edges.
