For anyone who’s felt left behind FP is here to help level out the playing field. If you put sincerely motivated people in situations to overcome seemingly impossible circumstances, very often they’ll find a way. Helping ex yoga instructor, Jessa, achieve a pain free life and Erica reverse the effects of peripheral neuropathy at 63. No yoga, no pilates and no physical therapy. Just a precise approach to training the human body. While many in the field philosophize about moving better, we actually make it happen.🔷Result 1: JESSA, EX YOGA INSTRUCTORJessa spent 10+ years of her life chasing a functional, pain free body only to have found neck and back pain along with an awkwardly moving body.❌ Before“Internally I was getting signals that something was off because I was experiencing discomfort after work and exercise that my practice (yoga) was not helping to alleviate.” - Jessa was dealing with left shoulder, neck pain and lower back pain. ✅ After “I’m pain free, I feel generally stronger and my walking mechanics are less collapsed and lazy. I can see and feel the improvements in my running, including more stability, muscular development and less of a forward lean.”🔷Result 2: ERICA, PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY IMPROVEDErica was diagnosed with Peripheral Neuropathy and was fearful that her active life was over & she would never be capable of playing with her grandchildren.❌ BeforeDiagnosed with Peripheral Neuropathy in her feet, Erica was unable to feel her toes and part of her foot for nearly 20 years. She also dealt with SI joint / shoulder / neck / lower back / knee and hip pain, nerve pain and disc herniations.✅ After After 5 months of doing only FP she had a 90% reduction in neuropathy related muscle spasms & nerve pain. About 12 months in, she was 80% (total body) pain free. Now at 63yo & 3 full years into FP she is completely drug free and can move without pain or physical restrictions. Her bone density has also increased by over 10%, her heart health (age) has reversed/improved by 3 years

Great results. I also think there are many problems with yoga and doing only yoga, but this isn't evidence against it - one thing being good doesn't make another thing bad. Is lettuce bad because tomatoes are good?

its sad that FP has decided to market themselves by dissing yoga

Also consider the “figure 8” pattern a woman makes when her hips move, men don’t move the same.

I’m not sure what yoga you have been doing or are talking about but yoga asana is about breath and movement which is what all functional movement is about. The main reason people get injured is because they don’t given themselves the time needed to understand their bodies and how to access, support and move into some of the poses they are wanting to achieve. They force and overextend because their aim is to achieve the pose as quickly as they can rather than just enjoying getting a stronger more mobile and fluid body. Yoga is not about striking a pose the pose is just a direction/destination for them to move towards. Anyone that does ANY form of movement training including function patterns without awareness to their own body, how it naturally moves it’s weakness, imbalances and strengths will probably injure themselves. If you are really confident it what you do and are selling then it should speak for itself and you shouldn’t need to put down other forms of movement just to big up your choice.

Excellent results! It feels good to feel good😊. Yoga definitely made my problems worse and created new ones.

OR, you had physical issues that would have been exacerbated by yoga just as many other activities would have. I just don't get the 'attack yoga' angle, here. Most people do yoga wrong--they have horrible breathing, form and technique. Congrats, you found your healing, now incorporate yoga back into your cross training routine with proper technique and I bet your issues don't return.

@@islandpapa1024 no actually the practice of yoga is completely contradictory to how we move through space, your reasoning tells you don't understand. Good luck😥

Yoga is the best one out there. The problem is Most yoga teachers are fitness instructors and not yoga instructors. Most who practice are not practicing and only practice for fitness not what it was traditionally intended. There is no evidence so this is moot. lol How about instead of devaluing what you don't know..focus more on educating the method you do know. lol

There are definitely elements of yoga that are not suitable for various people. Yoga is NOT a fantastic thing for everyone. Not everyone needs or benefits from movement through the spine, especially through flexion, excessive extension and rotation. Many people require stability through their spine, not movement. In conclusion, many of the movements of yoga are very beneficial to specific people at specific times. Not all is good for you.

Doing yoga & passively stretching your tissues is like stretching a piece of shrink wrap….it gets flaccid. You don’t need “evidence” to figure that out. Never seen optimal results come from doing yoga.

Please explain why yoga is the best. Your statement holds no evidence. Yes, I was a certified yoga instructor and left that dysfunctional practice . Never again. The hardest part is admitting you are wrong. I learned.

@@Prettynoisei assume what the OP meant was that Yoga, i.e. the pursuit of enlightenment through living a selfless, compassionate life, pursuing wisdom assisted by daily meditation, is the best. Which i think most wise people would agree with, since the root of Yoga is Vedic Philosophy, which is probably the best blueprint for how humanity should live. I am sure even many FP practitioners live Yogic lifestyles! Yoga and Exercise Yoga are two different things, so whilst Yoga is fantastic, Exercise Yoga (i.e. the relatively more modern art of holding various postures as a way of preparing yourself for spiritual enlightenment), is not so great as far as meeting the physical exercise needs of your body. Hence the title of this video. I think most wise people would agree on that too. Trouble today is that most people (including FP) equate Yoga with Exercise Yoga and that is erroneous and leads to these kinds of debates in RU-vid comments!

@@DunkzGam1ng if yoga was so great then the country where it originated from would be in tip top shape right now with everyone doing the full yogic lifestyle , it would be the leading country on Earth in every way since yoga has been around for so long but that just isn't the case at all is it . people do the appeal to it's an ancient practice type fallacy
