Our goal at Functional Patterns is to map out exactly what makes people move great without pain.
While many aim to look different or sound smart, we focus on getting the job done so people can actually become the best version of themselves.
This is why FP can help people with a wide range of conditions, from 92 year old Parkinson's Disease and chronic pain clients, to World Champion Wrestlers and everyone in between.
In the process of figuring out how humans should move correctly, we've come to realize that correct biomechanics may very well be the fountain of youth and vitality people have been looking for.
We are one of the fastest growing companies in the field because our results are proving to be the best in the business.
We believe the consumer should see what we can produce before they decide to do FP.
It's why we showcase before and after results on a regular basis.
This ladies and gents is complete nonsense. The opposite is true…..look at “kneesovertoesguy”. His entire programme ethic is about taking joints to their maximum extension and he literally fixes people’s knees, hips, ankles and elbows by making them strong and flexible throughout the entire range of motion. I had Achilles tendons so damaged that a musculoskeletal doctor said I was close to a tear. Couple of months later they’re better than ever, by strengthening them gently through full ranges of motion. People who have been told by doctors that they need invasive surgery have completely fixed their knees by incorporating exercises like deep squats.

June may be walking better, but it seems like anything would have helped June. Perhaps June could be walking even better with some well programmed progressive overload. It's a nice gimmick.
I think the point being made is that aiming for 350 lb squat does not represent functional strength relative to how humans move ( pre-smart phone era) and carries significant risks in terms of injury. whereas doing pilates 2k24 will translate into healthy functional strength gain. of course, if all a person wants is big muscles and aesthetic then go queue at the squat rack and pop those protein powders!
@@DunkzGam1ngCan someone win Olympic’s in javelin, weightlifting or sprints doing this? Absolutely not. But incorporating some of this, McGill and physical therapy training on top of Lifting HEAVY weights would help.
@AK_Catholic_Traditional javelin and sprints yes they would. Weightlifting of course no. The clue is in the name Functional Patterns. After all, how far would you run with 350 lbs on your back?
Ask yourself why do I even want to go into a natural human pooping position with that much weight on my back. Its just useless. I do squat but everything is about explosive power and lighter weights. But you could also just box jump for same result.
@henryg3313 Why would anyone want to be able to get to a 350 squat? Because you'll be strong af. You think this pilates will make you as strong as squatting 350lbs?
Please more videos like this that add value. I have been very curious by your methods for a long time, but am always turned off as all the content is about how terrible other modalities are. Naudi Aguilar use to have good content but seems it was all taken off RU-vid.
FP should put out more content like this. Rather than the closed minded belittling FP or nothing approach. He's in a gym, I can relate. He's doing rows, I can relate. He's not bashing other training modalities, just showing another way to achieve your best, pain free, long-term fitness goals. Thank you.
@@gio7602 "a type of workout geared explicitly toward better function when performing everyday tasks", so every coach have the own definition, that's the space to justify all what we do
I thought Naudi said biceps didn’t have to be trained independently. He definitely definitely does bicep curls at home, otherwise he’d have FP arms like the other two😂😂😂
then what the heck keeps fascia alive?????????????? everybody says stretching and yoga is key nd this random video with no evidence or alternate suggests otherwise!!!!!!!
