If you bought this new surely addi should replace it as its fautly at least in my country there are laws requiring items be replaced or refunded by the manufacturer if they are faulty and/not fit for use
I totally agree...buying from Amazon here in the US does create a challenge for product defect returns for sure. Once we're out of the return window we're kind of on our own.
A common issue with the 22 pin specifically was on pin 20 I think the yarn would always split and get stuck no matter what. It turned out to be a massive defect across machines and the fix was getting a new red ring.
