it irks me so badly whenever moms are only gifted items meant for domestic labor. a woman can & should be more than being a mom :/ i always make sure to get the women in my life who are moms something for HER & HER ONLY to use.

I feel like the best way to 'tackle' this as a woman is to sit down and be honest with what YOU want, block the noise of SM and other people then move accordingly. We as women are very different, others don't mind being a sahm and wife from a young age, others don't mind going 50/50 and working, others prefer being kept and others want to be single and childless. There is no best way to do things, everything has it's weaknesses. Just be true to you and you'll have the least regret.
That's what I did in my 20s. At 35, I truly don't regret choosing my career, embracing my freedom, and remaining childless. Especially after being married then abandoned for not choosing to self sacrifice myself. For me I don't think men are worth that sacrifice. Men will always choose themselves and dont cherish the sacrifices enough for me that women make imo. Now I don't mind becoming a mom now after living for me and setting myself up. If I don't o well I regret nothing. I broke generational curses in my bloodline I'm good with that. But I don't think it's fair the woman carries the majority of the consequences.
It’s never too late to leave, ladies. It was the best decision I ever made! I was in a horrible relationship for years and wasted all of my early 20’s with him, time I’ll never get back. But I try not to live with regret. I found someone who treats me like a Queen and I’m getting married next year. A little later than I’d like but again, can’t change it so I’m just grateful. It’s NEVER too late to choose your happiness! 💛💛

Yep my mum had to give up an amazing scholarship to go to Japan because she loved my dad. Well his family terrorized her for years and when he passed they very quickly alienated her and us her kids very fast. If she didn't have her own money and investments we would have been destitute. She says if she could go back in time she would have chosen the scholarship maybe her life would have turned out different. Now she always emphasizes the importance of never giving up your dreams and careers for a man. Always choose yourself first

These families have kids, which include sons, and they do NOTHING to teach them proper ways of life. They’re treasured as a gift from God, and should be given everything. A correction about feminism. Feminism is not about constantly choosing career over family. It's about choice. Having the choice to do those things without fear of societal degradation. Which many women don't have. If you choose your career path, you're called selfish. If you choose your family, people lament on your lost potential.
