Just an fyi for those worried about their save file on a repro. There are ways to export the save from any catridge gbc, gbc, ds etc. Do your research and you can export it onto a pc and continue through emulator or better transfer to a real cartridge! Cool ways to enjoy your games! Just here to help :)

Pokemon blue just arrived n it saves without a battery yay! Is it true when you remove the cartage while its saving the game breaks? A guy want me to break my game for some reason?

I have seen some reports that the carts without a battery are unable to progress past Lance. When you defeat the Elite Four, the game isn't able to autosave, so after the credits the game restarts at the last save point from before challenging Lance, making it impossible to visit Kanto. Can you confirm if this is true? I'm thinking of buying a copy.

ok but my copy looks almost identical to the real copy but it lacks the gs logo is this a regional thing i think mine is a eu copy the code on the side says DMG-AAUP-EUR

My board is virtually identical to your authentic copy. However mine dosent have MX, on the large right chip. I’ve heard of DS versions of Pokémon games missing the MX. But what about GBC gold cartridges. Does no MX means it’s not authentic at all?
