Hello everyone! Pokeboy14 here back with more side by side comparison of Fake and Authentic Pokemon Heart Gold Game. Many starting collectors look for help to get started and I am hoping to share my knowledge related to these Pokemon Items.
These sealed pokemon games has been selling for ~$500 and I am hoping that this video will help you avoid getting scammed or tricked into buying these cheap reproduction Pokemon games that usually costs around $30-$50$.

For EU viewers, the games never came sealed for us! The only seals were the 2 circle stickers on the big box. Hope it helps someone.

@@enoyna1001 I don't know, there were just 2 big transparant stickers on the cardboard big box. The game itself isn't sealed.Hope the info helped you :)

I remember going to Wal-Mart to buy HeartGold back in like, 2011 or 2012? There were many copies and I regret not buying SoulSilver or even an extra copy of either to keep sealed. But back then I didn't have the mindset of a collector. Anyway it makes me mad that there are so many fakes out there! Thank you for the video!

i got a fake sealed few weeks ago and i notice the detail of the pokemon are off and the bottom right side where it says Nintendo (R). The R is blurry and washed out

I've got a sealed HG and a sealed SS (original), both with the pokewalker (in the big boxes, which I never, ever opened) laying around. I bought them both in 2015 or so for like 35 $ each (the guy at the shop sold them at a rebate because they were the last copies they had) and never had the time to play them. Boy oh boy was I surprised when I saw the price they were going for now... How grateful I am not to have opened them up, ahah! They are in french (PAL) though, but still in pristine (new) condition. I mean, more than 800 $ CAD for the Heartgold one? What the heck!?!

I have a very good question, didn't heartgold and soulsilver have a strip you can peel off all around it that goes vertically or horizontally depending on how it came out the factory?

Or was there different variants of it because I recall that and both my hg and ss have have the strip tag marks of line on them still
