Awww, Lovely! Isabeau reminds me of a black bird with some red on its chest or wings. The power of zooming in: I also love to catch the judges, press panel and audience's reactions - all eyes are on her. I thought you were sitting close enough to the skating rink until you retracted your lens in the last shot. Thanks for the enjoyable video.
Thanks again for another wonderful video. Your videos are the ones coaches should be paying for, seriously. For all the hype around regarding her artistic impression I think it could be better. She is not looking UP into the crowd. And knowing her skating and how methodical her training is, she is clearly not training to look UP ENOUGH! She should be making eye contact with the person in the last row of the first level of the arena. To many of these skaters are skating only for the people in the first row. The great performers - trust me - if you're in row 170 - they see you. And YOU will never forget how they filled the arena with their presence. So, if Isabeau can work on that aspect, that could make her skating even more breathtaking. Regarding her jumps - hey are extremely neat, which is a plus. But they are too slow. On some of the entrances she comes to a stand still. And the entrance to the double axle is really unacceptable. If you are a senior lady nowadays, you should be able to do a double axel at full speed, period.
She has a unique balletic style that would’ve made George Balanchine proud! For an American, her style is Russianesque. Which in the last 30 years, seems to be the path to Olympic glory. I’m glad she’s only 14 bc this will give her time to grow and build up more speed…she’ll need it if she wants to medal at the Olympics. I find the petite tall girls struggle to build up to jumps. She hangs onto them but you can tell it takes effort. She’ll get there & is otherwise perfect! Best wishes❤!
У нее русские тренеры, и сама она из Италии. Так что американского в ней ничего нет, только гражданство… она к сожалению не победит на Олимпиаде… у нее проблемы с прыжками и чем старше она будет, тем они будут усугубляться…
So incredible, light & unexpected. You can't usually tell what her next move will be. Also nice to not have to listen to her skates. Network coverage of this year's US championships had the sounds of skates on the ice turned up so loud that it almost overwhelmed the music.
Шикарная фигуристка. Уверен, что она бы и в российском чемпионате не потерялась бы. Я вообще сначала думал, что она россиянка. Начал интересоваться и оказалось, что тренеры из России, и всё стало на свои места. Если Россию не допустят на следующие соревнования, то я уверен Изабо возьмёт золото.
