they are amazing, do you own one Harley? I have had one since last year, absolutely stunning belts- cost me less than other brands, delivered when they said, perfect communication, checked everything before starting, a great company, and a fantastic belt, the quality is second to none, and the embroidery is stunning! i hope it lasts a long time. Monty, well done on the Judo Black and on the choice of chokesports...how is your belt holding up after some time? Mine is gorgeous, and I love it...i train a few times a week, as often as i can, and this belt has held up and even after year, still looks like new, i love it! :)

what is written on the other end of Kyokushin belts? One end has name and dan stripe. I find it same in all belts.

Why do you stitch the black rows over the gold name embroidery???

Hello John. Our most premium belts are made to order in Japan. We embroider the fabric first and then we make the belt. There will be no embroidery trail on the reverse side, but the belt stitch lines will be over the embroidery. However if you order a pre-made belt, embroideries will be made over the belt stitch lines but they will leave a trail on the reverse side.

JK, it's a more professional thing, higher quality, and there is alot more longevity to it this way...all the big names or any company worth their salt do it this way, when you see it from a far and wearing it, it looks like 'no lines' through it, but up close you see it, has a different feel, but doesn't take away from it- they open the belt, add embroidery then re-stitch it...longevity, and neat too...hmm perfect!

Karate degrees are usually golden stripes, whereas Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu degrees are usually white stripes. With that being said, we can make the stripes in many different colors. If you have any special requests, please contact us directly: www.chokesports.com/pages/contact-us

Good question! We handmade all belts and embroideries back in the day. Handmade embroidery is actually still available today and we use of the most respected artists in Japan. Each embroidery is unique and the result is stunning (especially if you can read Japanese). Handmade embroidery costs about 2x more than computer embroidery and needs to be ordered directly through our customer service support@ChokeSports.com

The belts look gorgeous, but Tokaido do the best embroidery I have seen, and they can pretty much do any colour wheras ISAMI are confined to their defaults. The belts though are obviously amazing quality.

Luke, if you can't find a color you like on ISAMI, you have a problem, there is 22, and IMO they have the same/more choice than Tokaido....I'm not sure if you have seen one up close, I have seen both ISAMI and Tokaido, and there is only one clear winner/choice for me in quality, price and embroidery....and that's ISAMI, best investment I made by a long shot!
