The way this one is narrated makes it somewhat difficult to tell if this is an isekai or not. 🤔 My guess is that unlike most protagonist that remember their lives from their previous world this one has forgotten so he sometimes blurs the lines between who he currently is and currently was. That's why he thinks of his past life as a dream and thinks of his knowledge of this world as sometimes a dream and sometimes a game.

48:38 It would have been better if he send out his demon lords to defeat the army and make them say something like "Our lord ruled and loved this country and his last orders if he were to die was to protect the country from attacks the kingdom couldnt handle on its own" That would make the demon lords be able to work on their duties to defend the kingdom better while also not making the empress look like she can command them. And this not only fixes that problem, but it also makes it look like the demon lords are not only acknowlodging the death of the demon king, but also now work as a last security meassure against attacks from other nations, making the other nations think twice before attacking them

Eh... TLDW for anyone who is looking for a good story: This is not it. The MC is a combination of absurdly OP while also having the intelligence of a child. Can't disagree with you more. This is a good story for anyone looking for a happy story with the usual underpinnings of the genre. It's Overlord if Ainz wasn't an idiot and railroaded into being evil and his minions weren't all chaotic evil. You need to chill on hating this story.

It feels like the author sometimes forgets whether or not the story is an isekai. Like at 57:50 he has this long scene of reminiscing about his old memories and questioning what kind of person he is, but it's like, bro, you're NOT HIM. You're just some dude who got dropped into a video game pretending to be him, why are you angsting as if you actually did any of this stuff?
