I don’t find any cultural dance to be exotic or sexual in nature - as a Muslim I personally support all cultures to keep their own traditions and cultures as they adopt Islam! The important things I find in Islam are the bigger teachings of Islam and we shouldn’t focus too much on small differences or try to Arabize the entire world! I love different cultures and without this the world would be very boring! They are the only religion which survived and still exist while other religions almost perished. They survived 800 to 1000 yrs of Islamic invasions and some hundreds Christians (Britishers). There are still 80% Hindus in India, her neighbours, Persian Empire and their Zoroastrian religion almost died in Iran-iraq. Amazingly, India saved Zoroastrian religion by giving them asylum. They gave asylum to jews ( India is the only country where jews were never killed, and live freely) Israel have great respect for India. They even saved Shia, people of Poland ( check out, documentary on you tube, "A little Poland in India). The only bad thing in their society is caste system, discrimination, which has reduced a lot, but still exist. They sometimes even kill people for eating beef. If they were coward they wouldn't have survived this long and mean while protected other religions too.

So for us becoming one and becoming the same are two different things. The idea is that dead things or sinful things grow more and more alike as they decay and rot until one cannot be distinguished from the other. The biggest problem for a Christian is not the sin itself but the death that it causes. I see it like trees. It is as if each person is a type of tree that will only exist once and if it lives in God it remains and even grows more becomes more unique from other trees, whereas all dead trees just look like dirt after a while. Christianity is actually quite mystic and it has a particular cosmology that others do not necessarily understand by just reading the Bible once though the Bible is not particularly confusing if people remember that many of the stories in it tell us what NOT to do. If one also understands that the Christian believes that the spiritual world is more real than what people call the natural world that also helps make the Bible more clear. A large portion of the Bible is simply the story of how the Jewish people became God's people not for themselves alone but for everyone in Christ who, though He was Jewish, transcended His time and culture because He created not only every culture but also the Universe. We believe in Evil spirits that have special preferences. One may relish anger while other likes violence. If humans do these things they not only feed these terrible creatures but become slaves to them. But we believe humans did this and then without meaning to gave their rightful power to the Devil and all his minions. But we also try to bring heaven here in much the same way that a person can be in one country and visit the embassy of another and inside that particular building is that country that the building represents. What if we said to her that her Hijab offends our sense of Jesus? To make things worse A Democrat Christian was angry at the Republican Christian woman who prayed, saying that faith should be private. Well the Muslim Congresswoman wears a Hijab that one can see from a mile away that she is Muslim so how is that private? And on another day the Quran was read and a bunch of people clapped. All these crazy people are jostling in line to prove how Muslim friendly they are when I know the religion very well and know the Quran forbids genuine friendship between Muslim and Non-Muslims unless the Muslim determines that a friendship of deception is required and only then until they gain the upper hand. This may sound prejudiced of me but I feel the only way the constitution will stay safe is if Muslims are banned from government positions especially those of the Supreme Court and the Senate and Congress. How can we trust them when our only hope is that most Muslims don't know what the Quran says or if they do they don't take it seriously. Is hoping for them to remain nominal supposed to make us feel safer when we know that people tend to get more religious when surrounded by those of no religion or of a different religion? Islam is growing fast here and people who couldn't care less about religion while living in Muslim countries are sure getting interested in it now even putting Hijabs on baby infant girls! I know the Quran and the Hadiths better than a lot of Muslims do and certainly better than those on the far political left who seem eager to help the Muslims acquire special minority religious privilege while squashing the many other religions in this country even the one they came to belong to. The smart Muslim knows how to use our constitution against us as well as our sense of responsibility we feel towards refugees to work towards their goal of adding (let me think) number 46 of the current 45 Muslim nations in the world.
