He shows respect. He respects their wish to shake hands or not shake hands but doesn't leave them hanging. We can all agree that it doesn't feel good to be left hanging on a handshake or dap
@@niconaegeliblogit’s actually part of the psychological warfare of it- it’s always going to be harder to pummel a guy that seems to like/respect you, professional fighters less so of course since they spar all day with their training partners who are usually close friends- but having someone who you thought was an opponent suddenly want to shake hands may throw someone off even slightly.
@@210.james._5 260 so what? What he gonna do with the current lightweight ufc champion who is one of the best MMA wrestler in the world right now and walk around 185 lbs.
Hey, I found one comment that actually noticed the most interesting part of the video. Yeah, they clearly thought "Oh he's too much of a badass to shake hands" when he was just saying he doesn't like people being disrespectful.
Right? Like maybe if you guys would stfu and wait till he's done explaining then maybe you wouldn't have to ask dumb ass questions bc you lack brain capacity to comprehend what he's trying to explain.
They didn't get it at the end I think they still assumed he meant he's against shaking hands and not refusing it which is is actual issue as far as I understand
What is even crazier is that MMA fighters are the best in street fights. MMA was developed by Bruce Lee for literal self defense, in any situation. Mostly in street fights. When you see MMA fighters in the cage, know that they are essentially showing 10% of what they can do in a real street fight, without any rules.
I mean he does sound mentally challenged and is quite god damn boring. Thats why i always liked khabib more, he was sharper with atleast some personality...Cant take anything from Islam inside the octagon though...he is p4p no.1
@@anabolicjesus6717 that's racist. Does anyone with an accent sound mentally challenged to you? If anyone is mentally challenged, look in the mirror. Absolute scum fuck shit I've ever heard.
He said he doesn't like that when a person wants to shake hands, the opponent denies it, he sees that as disrespectful from the one who denies the handshake....
Not only the opponent. Handshake is for your family, neighbours, friends or even strangers that you just met. Its one of the impression you can make that shows youre a respectful person. Also its doesnt have anything to do with culture or religion. Its about how you being raised. If you do handshake but you still being salty like comment above me that just meant your parent/parents kinda failed.
They actually completely misunderstood him. I am an Islam Stan so I speak Dagi-glish lol. What he’s saying is, he doesn’t like it when fighters either in the beginning, end, press conf etc, he doesn’t like when one fighter extends his hand to shake or to give a fist bump and the other fighter does not reciprocate that. It’s a massive disrespect in his country. It is here too in America but people simply don’t care these days about being honorable.
in their culture it's commonly known why they wouldn't shake women hands, for religious reasons and not desrespecting and women there know that of course. it's only a problem in the west world as westerns think there aren't different ways to look at things other than theirs!@@apr5876
they think he’s talking about WHEN he prefers to shake hands. But he’s saying that when one fighter attempts to shake hands/high five (at any point) and the other doesn’t, that he considers it disrespectful
Islam and Khabib is repesent a good Muslim who follow the teach of Prophet Muhammad PBUH to be kind and stay humble, respect other and maintain friendship and brotherhood 😊🙏
This is reason to get smeshed 👊🏾 Always respect your opponent it’s all love we scrap we bleed we live to train and fight we all know the work out in to achieve one night of glory in front of friends and family and random strangers 🦁
