A friend of mine invited me to experience how they live on their remote island property in the Central Philippines. We enjoy dinner with fresh fish, crab and coconuts.

Ahhh Candulo Island I travel 35 hours from San Diego area to our house in Sulangan Leave the stress and pressure of work to Eat and party just like that with 20, 30 or 40 family and friends ( don’t know who’s related) You really got a chance to experience the friendly province life This video makes me “ second home sick”

Guava picking is my favorite hobby in the hills of my province when I was a young girl it reminds me in this video.but now I live in the city of Manila it makes me missed those days
Lookin good there Tim !! Where your at reminds me of many years ago, Bacoor Cavite(Tabing Dagat area) long before it became a city and moved into the 20th century. I spent many days there mixing in with the locals and my asawa and joined my brothers in law fishing many times, spending all night in a flimsy banka boat and drank many a warm san magoo. Have to admit those were the best years of my life and i cherish those wonderful times. Next year, we'll be heading back to cavite from oklahoma to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and enjoying a month there taking in the sights and sounds and smells we fondly remember. Soak up these times you have as the years go by faster than you know...we'll be bringing our grand daughter along as well on our trip, she has no idea what she's in for except she wants to see where her lola grew up..boy she'll be surprised hahaha. 🤣

That's ok. Living a very simple life. For as long as locals you meet are good to you and vise versa. Where you are now is a picture of natural survival for folks there.
