I like your content I watch you show I have described to it the fact that you are doing such a wonderful job showing the Philippines congratulations I hope everything is going well for you considering you pretty much almost lost everything you owned in the Typhoon Typhoon I hope your family's doing well and God-bless you
Exactly... I've been traveling a lot to SEA and always amazed how difficult/impossible it's made for foreigners to acquire land over there (for obvious reasons tho), unlike here in Finland anyone can buy land. It's ridiculous from my country to be so open. For example now we have a big problem with the Russians who own land over here.
Tim I’ve always loved watching your videos and as a big man myself im looking forward to early retirement in the Philippines before the end of the year. However 350k is not realistic for the country. Yes it’s beautiful but that’s absolutely insane price wise unless you already have like a million dollars put away. Thanks again and I would like to meet you and Chrissy some day :)
I would have to agree. I have Philippine in-laws. Seen lots of beach lots for quite a bit less but of course if it’s many Hectares of beach front , cost will go up accordingly.
Actually, that is a waterfront. The price is just right if you are familiar with the current real estate market in PI. Expensive for ordinary people but reasonable if you are an investor.
Wow, great view Tim, with a little work that would be a really nice place. I enjoyed this vlog, it's good to see places like this that are for sale ... kind of makes me want to live there. Take care, God Bless you and your family!
@@ericcartman9042 I know the Russian people will be even more oppressed than before and not by their own choices. You are correct in saying " I know absolutely nothing". I just hope it all ends soon.
😍 surely Harold has had first dibs this would be a perfect little hide away for him and fam... Sitting on the porch with that view few wines or beers fresh caught fish...
The THUMP THUMP THUMP from the resort would drove me nuts. At the 15 minute mark you’re at the old shelter furthest away and it’s still audible. Peace and serenity is what I want. And not in the perverted way of being two young girls. Actual peace and serenity. Older, married and not interested in nonsense. My wife likes to visit but ever moving back there I don’t think will ever happen.
Truly enjoy watching your channel and always looking forward to the next. Im from Leyte and now living and vlogging in the USA. While watching you I get to see the surrounding area, all the things that I miss. Keep doing all what your doing and stay safe
Hmm...$350,000 US is like 11.6 Million Thai Baht or 18.2 Million Philippine Pesos. Sorry, but $175,000 per acre is a bit much. And yes, I do realize that "they" aren't making any more ocean front property. But that is out in the sticks. Maybe in 20 years it might be close to the actual real value? 🥺🤔
@@TimKyoutube 😊😂😊😂😊😂👍 My point of reference having lived here for almost ten years. You can buy a really nice two bedroom Condo at the luxurious Boathouse Condos in Hua Hin for about 7 Million Thai Baht or $210K US or 10.9 Million PHP. 😊
I would imagine all the beach property is "western" priced. We see it, we want it, whatever the cost. I sure would love to be Darryl's neighbor! Thanks Tim.
Tim is a smart guy and love the Philippines, he loves beach and we must respect him. Regarding the property his son would own it and his bloodlines will continue to prosper in the PI if ever.
It's about right. There are a number of factors involved. 100+ million population in a combined landmass roughly the size of Italy. A large gap in the society where you have an aristocracy or feudal landlords that own much of the land in a province for miles... an upper middle and middle class with some... and commoners with a bit to none... land is not particularly that cheap, and can be a sensitive issue too. BUT on the bright side, there is cheap land around and one could get a good deal on a nice spot.
It’s always nice to see the ocean view on your videos because I’m living here far from the ocean. Gorgeous nice land with the ocean view👍🏻🌹Thank you Tim keep those great videos coming👌🏻😊
That price level means it may as well be anywhere else now. I just got back from Montenegro which has stunning coasts on the beautiful Adriatic Sea and water as translucent as the Philipines and 350,000 or 32K euro about the same would get me a beautiful waterfront property with 100k left to renovate etc. Unfortunately looks like the western influence has driven prices up to western levels.
The prices are like that where westerners are at. The property I have in the Philippines was cheap and is in mine and my wife's name and was cheap. But we also bought land away from westerners on purpose.
Hi Tim, have been watching you and Chrissy for some time. Your vlogs always interesting and full of info for people who want to come to the PL. Amazing piece of land but expensive😊
@@TimKyoutube I am living and working in Qatar. Exploring options. Planning to come to PL next t month. After about 20 years! You have a wonderful weekend, bro!
Most of well known political families in the Philippines own the best beach side land, the average person really couldn't believe how they acquired these prices of paradise
They probably got it because of their position or that being a politician in the Phils they usually use their power or influence to get what they want.🤭
As a foreigner one can set up a Filipino Corporation. This corporation is allowed to own land in the Philippines. However, the corporation must be at least 60% under Filipino ownership.
Property looks great the only issue would definitely be typhoons however that's a solid concrete home you'll probably only have to replace your windows whenever typhoons hit hahaha
Maybe I missed something, but when you said, that you lived closed by, I wondered if you are not 'officially' living anymore in that rental house at Padre Burgos, Eastern Visayas?
Tim, not only great vid maker, you’re great salesman too. whata getaway! but missing: location rel to significant town. & drone view, looking from sea. yep, f/t live in caretaker, goats, path down rocks to boat mooring, saltwater infinity pool nxt front bar, helipad. phew…getting carried away.
I was going to do an April fools joke and argue that foreigners can own property in the Philippines. 😆 But "YES" we foreigners CANNOT own property in the Philippines, at least not in our name. That's a beautiful spot of land... 👍😎
It depends on how you acquire you're land. My Mom is American by birth and acquired her lands thru her parents. My Moms dad is Filipino while her Mom is an American. You can inherit lands even if you're a Non Filipino.
14:18 Non-Filipino can own land if they in inherit it. They can only inherit land if there is no will. A Filipino cannot leave land in a Will to a Foreigner.
Hey mate, just came across your VLOG...also in Aussie although dual citizen with Pinas...where is this land exactly ? I dont need an exact address but an approximation ? We surf so we are heading to Siargao Island to buy & build but so are hundreds of other whiteman leaving western society especially Europe & the US...there seems to be a chicken run happening where we are all getting out before things go really bad...just chasing an approx locality...thanks mate...
Cool video, a bit much for my blood. I’m sure there are plenty of property owners finding that their property has been damaged and become a burdensome project now. Keep in mind, uninsured projects and every storm that comes through you may have to come out of pocket.
Hello Tim & Daryll, You mentioned very large cave systems under parts of this coast line , I would be very concerned on what cavities could possibly be under this ground and have it checked thoroughly ?
This is high price if you are foreigner want to buy some beach house or land near the coastline here are some tip. There are many place near the coastline which you can buy with a very cheap price like in mindanao or some island in visayas island
It would be great if you told us where it is. What island? I heard you quickly say the name of a resort. Maybe if i replay this i will eventually get the resort name which i can google.
Nice property but need to do a lot of reconstruction. Are there in leyte no sand beaches? Btw, do you have an idea for a place in Leyte where we can stay? Maybe after our meeting we will deside my girlfriend to xplore in leyte. ;)
