Join us as we walk the IOW Coastal Path from Ryde to Wootton Bridge, via Quarr Abbey. We then make our way back to Waverley Caravan Park before taking a trip on the Floating Bridge to Cowes.
Lovely video thank you! Quarr Abbey is of family interest to me as one of my ancestors (i believe great grandfather was a bricklayer when they built the "new" Abbey (1912 approx). Very brave to include the highly controversial floating bridge (always called the chain ferry in my family!)
Oh wow, you must be really proud of your grandfather, as Quarr Abbey is such a beautiful building. As for the chain ferry, we thought we'd take the opportunity to film it whilst we could.
