Isolobal Analogy is one of the most favourite topics of CSIR and Questions are coming on this topic frequently. I've tried to make this topic easy by applying a simple trick.
jagadeesh manda, thank you for finding it out... I'm sorry about that actually the option D was [Ni(CO)3]+ So it will have 15 electrons due to that positive sign... I missed that while writing. You can verify the questions from the June 2017 Question paper. It's question no. 24 of set-A
Thank you Sanmay. There are roughly 90 videos currently on the channel and all are very helpful for GATE and CSIR preparation. So plz watch them and subscribe to get notification of upcoming videos 😊

Sapna Barad, Get a book from Arihant publication. It is thick pink book for CSIR which has questions from each topic. The problem with the book is that some answers are incorrect there... Bt you can't do anything coz there aren't many books for question practice specially for CSIR level questions..
For RS and R2S we cannot assign number of electrons donated by it directly, it'll depend on condition bcoz here we can have a back bonding from filled p orbital of Sulphur to vacant d orbitals of Metal.
All 'Bout Chemistry... sir In CSIR june 2014 ..there is a ques ... Which is not isolobal pair Co(CO)3 , R2Si and Mn(CO)5 , RS . How i solve this ques by ur method???
Alkyl "R" group acts as one electron donor so for R2Si we have 2+4 electrons means 6 electrons. It can be isolobal with a group with 16 electrons. And for RS we have 1+6=7 electrons, which is isolobal with 17 electrons.
Sir we how to know that in rhenium type question only calculate for hydrogen. And sir plz solve this question :The final product of the reaction of archano borane, B4H10 with NMe3 IS? This question asked in csir December 2016
Boranes undergo cleavage rexn with lewis base to give adducts of the form BH3.L, where L is the lewis base. for this question only in 1st option it is given [BH3.NMe3] and [B3H7.NMe3] so it is the correct answer.
Hitesh Wankhade You can watch my video :ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w9Jt3jbgBYs.html Here I've discussed about the books you can follow
Jyoti Bhatt, I think the answer will be kb ln60 I've solved a similar question in my video on finding number of microstates, watch and try to solve.. I think you'll be able to do it.
