Isotretinoin Acne Medication 

I'm currently on month 4, 80mg Isotretinoin and my skin is already smooth as butter. This medication is a gamechanger. The side effects I seem to get are joint pains, headaches, backache, drowsiness, fatigue and sometimes lack of appetite. But not all at the same time. Like I said, this is a gamechanger ❤

@Nee12able there is no long-term effect of Accutane on pregnancy, just while you are on the drug and for 1 month after you stop taking it.

It is frustrating and uncomfortable when my skin gets itchy and skin rash shows up. And the most disappointing is to be told that acne will not be curable!

Nice.. I am taking this medicin nowadays i am facing headache problem, is there any precaution for it?

I weigh 138 lbs, but my dermatologist prescribed isotretinoin only 10mg/day. Is this not under-dosed? Although I only have a mild form of acne, but which did not respond anymore to antibiotics.

I am a female who is not sexually active, does that mean I still need to take birth control while on Accutane?? I need answers !!

As someone who used this medication, I just want to point out that the results are indeed permanent as are some of the side effects. Isotretinoin is not perfect. Dry skin on face, lips and eyes. Excessively dry hands. I still do get a pimple here or there and the medication had no effect on the acne on my back. I use benzoyl peroxide for that to try keeping it clear.

i've had normal acne but it didnt go away with any medication so i started taking isitretinoin for 8 months or morei had to go through a bad experience first my skin was so dry i culd see cracks on it my chapped lips were the worst though i also noticed that i started having visual problems i couldnt see that gd even with my glasses on ,my scalp became so dry it hurt so bad wich gave a horrible headache and started loosing hair now my skin is better but still have a few pimples but not as bad

why is the reason you can't take alcohol

it okay to use oil free moistureizers? or should you just use a regualr one?

It says i cant have dental procedures but i have braces and i go to weekly/monthly controls. So what now, i am not able to use isotretinoin ?? :s :/

I work physically. In the coming months even 12 hours a day. Can I take accutane despite being all day long on feet or not? please answer me

3yrs before i was on isotretenion and after 4 years my acne return, again i use isotretenoin for 1 months there is no result i m getting, i have heard that if v use medicine for long time it stop working , mam may be i m facing the same..recently i m using benzoyl pera oxide gel for my skin.. Suggest me wat i can i do...plzz
