I like this guy. I thought I would because I like the way he fights and his demeanor in the ring, but he’s cool outside the ring too. Nice interview. I wish him much success going forward.
So hard not to like Izzy, his fight style is unique and people seem to gravitate to his fight energy and presence. You get the sense that the moment is never to big for him
Dude is special. Not many people have the maturity to look at themselves the way he does. He has pride and ego, but he doesn't let it cloud his judgements and affect his goals. I think that's where Conor went wrong.

While I'm a Aussie and a huge Robert Whittaker fan, I am very happy for Izzy...As I was also a huge Anderson Silva fan and thought he was the striking GOAT (in the old MMA world).. BUT I think Izzy is better than Anderson in style and presentation and has more potential in Star power...and is a very worthy new generation MMA GOAT ...
@@joachimpetersen2301 ...yeah..NZ Maori guys have a proud warrior culture...and are generally cool guys too..I'm also a Mark Hunt fan since his pride days...Robbie is a blend of our two countries...as his dad is 'full on' Aussie... his mother is Maori..it's a good blend of warrior and competitive Aussie sports attitude .
What Jon Jones could be if he wasn't so self destructive. The whole infinity gauntlet sounds like a great idea. You have to have either 5 title defenses or across multiple weight classes.
Kulas Magilas you can stfu if you think he is the best version of Silva. Silva went on a 16 fight win streak with 10 title defenses. Dude also went up to light heavyweight and kicked the shit out of most of them too. Izzy is Anderson Silva with less power and no grappling.

Someday Adesanya will move up the his natural weight of 205, he will get outstruck and toyed with. Then he'll move back down to 185 and defend his belt until fighters start having the balls to take him down. He'll have 4 or 5 title defense before someone takes his belt
