Norway, Ireland and Spain announced Wednesday they are recognizing a Palestinian state. Israel immediately ordered back its ambassadors to those countries and condemned the move. CBS News' Imtiaz Tyab and Margaret Brennan have more.

Those recognizing a Palestine State not based on given principles might be exerting pressure as the UN but nothing will happen in the long run. Hamas, Iran and their proxies do not believe in 2 State solution but Palestine State from the river to the sea. So anyone giving recognition to a Palestinian State without a standing government and a recognizable boundaries is rather hasty and fraudulent.

I see this as being so akin to the situation in Northern Ireland, but worse; people confined to basically a ghetto, without hope or the possibiliy of escape or betterment. In addition, Israel has been steadily encroaching on what is supposed to be Palestinian land, starting settlements where they are not supposed to be. I', super sorry Israel doesn't have enough land for its population, but the Palestinians have already given up their land to israel long ago, they don't owe them any more. Hamas should be outlawsd & replaced with elected officials under the over sight of neutral countries until there is a stable & peaceful government. A "two state solution" has been "in the works" for I don't know how many decades. Israel and especially Netanyahu has made it VERY clear that they have on interest in letting Palestinians have a state. Hamas has received lots of money and other aid with help from Israel exactly to keep Palestinians from having a state, which is necessary for there to be a two-state solution.
