They are not design to counter Fast and High flying aircraft or Ballistic missile I wouldn't say they are the best air defence. But Iron Dome is probably the most combat proven C-RAM air defence.

I'm also skeptical of any system that has a claimed 100% intercept rate for a couple reasons. 100% is impossible to achieve/maintain as eventually, something will break/fail. Second, there straight up might not be enough data to support such a claim. Iron Dome has THOUSANDS of intercepts under its belt. Hence why so many, including the US, want it for drone and munitions defense. The system has a very specific intended use. And in that intended use, it's pretty much the best there is currently
