ok as a person who has had the displeasure of living in Israel for most of my life let me give my take on this video and more so the whole situation I'm not gonna sugarcoat what's going on in Gaza, Palestinians are being hurt and that's something that cant be ignored, and the Israeli government is terrible and honestly way worse than what people think even after all the shit they've done, they don't even treat Israelis good, I've talked to some relatives of hostages and the government is doing pretty much jack shit to help them however, the Hamas is responsible for taking the lives of thousands of Israelis, there are currently hundreds of hostages in Gaza and nobody seems to be batting an eye. usually when I bring this up people say some bullshit like "well the Palestinian death counts are higher" which is the dumbest moral argument I've ever heard. all human lives have value and you cant just completely fucking ignore all the Israeli casualties just because there are more Palestinian casualties. as an Israeli I have experienced this first hand, for like 3 months almost every day multiple times a day, our city would be showered with bombs. the building directly next to mine got bombed by a Hamas rocket and I watched it fucking burn in front of me, and I live in one of the safer cities. This kind of thing can happen to anyone, I just want people to see that Israelis aren't as well off as people say and I want people to at least recognize that much
Critical thought and empathy escape them so they turn to hating either Muslims or Jews. I wish I were religious so I could tell myself God will deal with them.
