@@_StrayKidsForever_ If you are struggling read this~ I know I’m young but I would just like to say that, In 7th grade I was in a very dark place. I couldn’t feel much emotion and I had thoughts of revenge and the other things. But God saved me, he gave me the people in my life and he showed himself to me. Even in my darkest days he was there with me, he never left me. One day while I was in bed I started to pray with my hand to the sky and I felt something holding my hand. At that very moment I knew it was him. I repent of all of the sins I have committed. I am ready to begin a new life with him. There is still time to repent love one another and believe in Christ for he will forgive you❤️ He helped me in hard and he will help you too:). Just pray!
I think the HIV is because of Genghis Khan and his Mongol warriors. Genghis’s DNA is present in millions of Chinese males because he and his army raped women when they marauded through Chinese villages
About her dad. It would be sad if her dad would pay attention to the gifts from the emperor first, when his daughter came back alive. First of all he was glad she was okay, no matter if she brings honour to the family or not. He wanted her to know that Dad didn't ignore her achievements, he was rethinking how he was treating her, and his values. He realized he cares about her well being more, than about honour. He only knew that she was risking her life, no matter how not honorable she was seen in his eyes. He just changes through the movie too, I think.
The animated Mulan is one of the BEST Disney Heroines. She worked hard to achieve her goals despite struggling, her personality is great, and she has the most badass moments! Current "strong female characters" don't hold a candle to her!
@@hayleybartek8643 even without using the force Princess Leia led the rebellion against the Galactic Empire where one of their leaders was her own father
5:23 wait a minute... if Shang knew that Mulan was weak and send her home, then mulan father would go to war and shows that he can’t stand a chance then none of this wouldn’t happen if shang sand him home for being old and weak.
This has got to be one of my favorite movies of all time. Im so glad they were able to make Mulan an interesting and cool character while still giving her a love interest.
9:33 My interpretation of this is that he realized how much Mulan really meant to him after she ran away and joined the army, possibly getting killed by doing so. Basically he thought she was probably dead and the fact that she was alive was more important to him than the other stuff.
100% agreed. however, he better pick up that damn sword and crest afterwards and put it on display by the front door. she worked hard on that!!! istg if he doesn't put that test on the fridge after she studied for it ALL YEAR--
yea because the dude's straight up mentally disabled. i do not know how you can honestly misconstrue the father ignoring his daughter's achievements because he realized all of that stuff that he berated her for didn't matter if it meant potentially having her daughter dead to be something bad. it's so jarring to me this dude makes jokes like these and yet is also somehow the most soft sensitive pc person ever lmao. the video has straight gems of jokes but it gets spoiled with the sjw ish.

I think the ending scene with the father is when he realizes that Mulan is a wonderful woman (she really is), regardless of her achievements, and she could've died before they reconciled, not giving him the chance to say how much she means to him. Maybe because he was a warrior, and he has been trained to remain stoic. So, it's kind of nice that he breaks down and shows his vulnerability in that scene. But yeah, I agree with you that he should have acknowledged her achievements too.
The point was in comparison to almost losing her, honor didn't mean anything and that this whole time he was putting value in the wrong thing. Dude (video creator) missed the whole point.
@@yorutsumetai exactly lol. its just a minor gripe for me and everyone can have their own opinions, but imo bro really dropped the ball on that one. I do admit that it would've been nice to see the father acknowledge her achievements and say he was wrong since she brought him honor of the highest prestige or smthn. but that wasn't what the scene was about. for all the father knew he shamed her and treated her badly her whole life due to a stupid honor system, and in return she throws her life away in a war for him. Especially considering how she was a woman and the attitudes at the time, he probably thought she was basically dead and never got to know how much he loved her since the last thing she hears from her family is how she brings shame to them. It's a great scene that shows how he finally learnt from his mistakes when it was seemingly too late. When he says that she was the greatest gift he ever received, it shows that he has completely dropped his outdated views of honour and has learnt to express the fact that she's more to him than the things she does. The point wasn't that her achievements were ignored because they will never be enough, its that she herself will always be enough and she shouldn't need to save the whole of china to get the love she deserved.
Understandable, but it's not like men don't look for physical traits in women. Big breasted, big "assets", not "too tall", long hair, long legs, unblemished skin, curvy but not enough to be considered overweight, need I go on?@@Generic877
@@ealpacaf.7463 Well, compare the drawn and the live-action Mulan. One is satirical lore-accurate story about a girl who under rare conditions take on the role of her father and joins the military. She works hard to overcome obstacles and earn the respect of her fellow soldiers. One is a overpowered girlboss who is naturally better at fighting than every man because she was born with a strong chi that is already accepted for who she is. Her enemy is a shapeshifting woman who servers a man because she feels she wouldnt be accepted. Why doesnt her enemy just kill the man she serves and shapeshift into him? Don't know! But they team up and defeat all evil, which is men. Smell the societal shift. Just like how, women voices have lowered 23Hz in the last 30 years. Because progress? yeah sure, we don't want feminine women, let's make them into a submale species.
This was so hectic, good job. My favorite parts: -Singaporean accent followed by immediate korean swearing -matchmaker violation -historically accurate enunch hating nepo babies *and* women - "fack you" -zaddy shang bc obvs 😛
"Can't believe I'm straight, I'm breaking up" 😭✋yoh this man's commentary is magnificent, as a fellow asian myself I approve. 7:40 the lyp syncing are on point.. i just noticed- after replaying the scene. First time stumbling to his vid and I have a great laugh
6:51 OMG I did not realize that guy was hiding during the first battle with the huns... What a loser. The "You'll Bring Honor to Us All" lyrical analysis & looking at some of the animated character designs was hilariously great too. Very fun commentary, sound effects, & story retelling.
I mean, what did you expect him to do 😂? He's the emperor's advisor, not a warrior. He was only with the soldiers to supervise and report on their actions and progress. Plus, I'm pretty sure there wasn't much he could've done during the battle anyways 😅.
