There’s a RU-vid documentary about an Israeli jet fighter pilot named Giora Epstein, the “ace of aces” of the supersonic jet era, with 17 confirmed kills, mostly against Egyptian Migs and Sukois. In the documentary, he describes a dog fight where he chases as Egyptian fighter through a Canyon in his Mirage. I’m wondering if you’d be able to find the canyon (if it’s even on this map, it may not be), and recreate the scenario. Great content as always 👍

It was against a Jordanian hunter, and it was not Giora Epstein it was Ran Ronnen. The canyon is in Jordan and beyond the map boundaries.

Very impressive graphics.. Getting up there even with MSFS2020. But this is really giving a much more impressive style of Immersion in my mind as its a war zone.. Love the scene when the bombs dropped and the backround noises of the syrian soldiers shouting and firing ak47s .. amazing. Then the huge boom of the bombs hitting.. Really special stuff for the hardcore simmers! Thanks!

I think the cause is too many details ( trees and buildings), so the solution is to reduce the detail level or better graphics card. At the moment I have no problems.

I had a lot of stuttering in vr as well on vr optimized settings, that runs smoothly on persian gulf and caucuses...was also my first time running the map, but we'll see in the future how well it holds up.

I don’t like the fact that Syria was protrayed as a dead desert, there’re so many fields, towns and cities on the way to central Syria (where Palmyra is located) Kinda weird too that no land air defenses were used (which isn’t the case in real life)

The problem with DSC is that the weapon system are not updated with reality! this strike that we see in this video is old!! and, at least, the Israeli air force is not using regular bombs in Syria. He is using more advanced and accurate weapon system and from long distances!!
