Tyler Carter has an amazing voice. Unfortunately he is no longer with Issues due to some allegations against him against straight men (he's gay) and it's a big ol thing you can read up on. But he's moving on with his solo career. He was also in a heavier band called Woe, Is Me before Issues.

There is a small band from Philadelphia named Lexsis Jumps that mixes jazz and hardcore. The female singer lists her influences as Lauryn Hill and Eryka Badu.

You need to do Dead by April. They mix metalcore with pop and electronic, similar to Issues. They’re pretty big in Sweden (they’re from Sweden). Their song Losing You is their biggest hit to date. Their blend of metal and pop is so unique and well done that they’ve earned the label “Swedish Metal Backstreet Boys”. It’s basically metalcore and boy band pop thrown together. Some of the catchiest metalcore out there.

Issues are sick! I’ve gotten to see them live a bunch of times. Unfortunately neither vocalist is in the band anymore but I’m hoping whoever they choose to be the new vocalist moving forward fits their sound just well as Tyler and Michael did
