That goal keeper with 2 x two footed challenges after the ball had passed. Bro was out to break legs. I have played football most of my life and I'm sorry but I would have lost my shit at this guy if I were the attacker. Suggest I would have been red carded shortly after.

the first one he could have called it any way, straight red or yellow. eiuther way, its a pen. if the player went down, it would have been a red, but since the attacking player didn't go down, it was just a yellow, which is fair. if the player does not go down, or is not injured then it's just a yellow. buddy he does not deserve a year in jail ur just overreacting. if he did injure him they could sue him but wouldn't be jail time cause it's a soccer game.

i think he was genuine. i've had that happened to me and the people call over the ref/parent/coach. they have also offered for a stretch or help getting up and the guy looked genuine

Was involved in a bad tackle myself back in the day, guy 2 footed me hit me so hard I flipped landed on my head and broke my neck. Needless to say it killed my Sunday games lol, but at least I can still walk, I got very lucky.

@Anthony Long it stopped me playing football and rugby for life but fortunately I just get soreness in the winter months. Go to chiropractor bout once every six months. I do miss the game tho.

I've played in leagues like this: guys with marginal athletic ability that take a beer league way too seriously. It doesn't make any sense to make a dangerous play when we are all going to work the next day. These guys all have "peaked in high school" energy.

I played in the Hackney and Leyton League in the 70s and 80s. It was known as the Kick,Bollock and kick league. Never lay injured on the floor as someone would run over you.😂

i played in the 80th and 90ths in germany... we played hard ,but fair... but nowadays they are to stupid to play a good football, they only want to break bones or other ugly things behind the ref... i am happy, that i dont play anymore, because i dont want to have problems with my body for the rest of my life, for 1 idiot like here in the video..

yea the ball is out there and he makes a play for it but the attacker at last moment moves it away and he lands on his foot/ankle and then his momentum kind of rides up his leg as his ankle twists and he falls. I don't think there was intent there and genuinely felt bad about that. Just a few seconds before the same guy went in and stood on the opponent's foot though. I think he was just getting too eager. Yellow for sure but I don't think he was out to hurt people but he needs to calm down and time his tackles better lol.

Am so glad here in North Carolina the league are no tackle, sliding allowed, except for the goal keeper. Because, who the hell wants to pay to get bad injuries? Is bad enough that you will get injuries by just running and turning wrong.

This is why I dont play rec league in my area. Ppl are out here to do real damage and the refs don't care....like it's supposed to be fun and competitive. Shouldn't have to fear being injured and not able to go to work the next day.

I’ve always thought that you if you need a whistle for being injured, you should be forced to take a ten min break from the game to recover. A lot less fakers would be willing.
