Unedited footage continuing tear down. Removal of crank pulley and timing covers.
Video IS NOT a how to buy raw footage of me tearing down the engine and should be used for reference only. Any terms I use or specs I mention should be taken with care. I make these videos for my entertainment and hopefully yours as well.

Great video and great detail! Doing the water pump and timing components on my VehiCROSS. Accidentally put in the wrong bolt into the top hole of the water pump before the timing cover and fan pulley. Couldn't figure out why I couldn't fit the top fan pulley bolt 'til I rewatched the video @5:27 😂 well done can't find any other videos like this.

Went to all that trouble of rebuilding it and you went with a Fram oil filter..... those are literally garbage oil filters they have done test on oil filters if you want a great cheap oil filter use a wix oil filter..

I agree. I’ve watched some engine masters and they’ve shown six is decent filter. Unfortunately sometimes your limited to what’s available or in stock. 🤷‍♂️

When removing heads, Easier to pull with exhaust or without??
@r1beef88

To get them off you need a long extension and you go through the wheel wells. There are a couple that are tough to get at. If your bolts aren’t rusted try to separate them at the first exhaust connection. The drivers side will give lots of grief. I ended up cutting the drivers side exhaust pipe way down before the Y pipe. Then removed the head with exhaust manifold attached and about 18inches of exhaust pipe. I spliced it back together on install. The power steering pump and shaft cause tight clearance. The passenger side was easier and I believe I removed the manifold from the head and removed it that way. It has more space to work with.
