I think Tom will need his instructions for emergency grease mopping up duties soon. The rate he was getting it everywhere except where it was supposed to go will rapidly deplete that roll of cleanup cloths.
It is currently 74F (23C) here in Southeast Michigan in the US. It stormed real hard last night and this morning. We were getting lightning that would rattle the windows.
I am in California, SF Bay Area. I just started watching your channel but have seen you on Furzie's channel. Weather here lately, as in the the month of July has been quite hot. We have had days in the 43 range and several above 40. Fortunately in the last week it has cooled down. Hopefully some of this cooler weather blows across the Atlantic and you get some of it. I am really liking your vids, even the ones you are thinking are boring.
I’m in Western Australia. WA grows a little bit of wheat and canola. The Wheatbelt farmers have enjoyed a nice bit of rain. It was late but it’s gone from high 30’s to Teens and low 20’s almost instantly. Cold mornings around 2 or 3° and a bit warmer further north.
Tom, I live in Plumstead which is in SE London ( UK ) and it has been 30c all day and no rain. I painted the shed and a fence with creosote and am happy to report no sabotage from any local Cats. Been riding my motorcycle and enjoying semi retirement. may have to use some cold Cider from the fridge to try and combat the heat. Thanks for posting....
A cordless grease gun is a game changer. I think that whole bit fighting with the grease gun was hilarious! Im in Pennsylvania, USA, and up until yesterday, we have had 95 degrees and high humidity and headed back to that next couple of days! I run a sawmill and do stump grinding and when those are slow i work part time as a road mechanic for a local heavy equipment repair service. Everything i do is outside! Hot and cold!
18 degrees light cloud cover today here in Northern Ireland Tom. You may get a shoulder strap for the gun and a backpack full of cartridges as I don’t see you putting it down any time soon 😂.
In Australia. 14 degrees. Been raining off and on for months. The grease gun and the fart were feckin hilarious. Been operating for over 40 years. Love the the channel Tom. You and Furze are the best Lincolnshire has to offer. Give me a subscribe 👍
Love the rain gauge Tom! My Grandpa (RIP) was a farmer in the Scottish Borders until retirement but he kept a rain gauge and a record of the max and in temps every day. When I was a young un in the 90's I put it all into a spreadsheet for him and made some lovely graphs! Would be intersting to know what's happening with all the grain moving in and out of the stores, are you buying and selling locally, moving between farms, selling for bread, beer or feed? P.S. am in London, it's 28C, far too hot for my Scottish blood! 🥵
The grease gun looks very helpful indeed! 👍 That heatwave has hit Sweden as well btw. Been around 30+. A bit cooler and rainy today though. Have a good one Tom!
You leave the rod pulled out until you’ve put the grease in you don’t need to leave the lid on like this but you can do, and you want the timer set to ‘Off’ not 500 seconds so you are in control. Also you can lock it on if you pull the trigger then slide the lock over so you don’t need to hold the trigger down
Way down here in New Zealand we are in the middle of winter, lots of rain, wind and some sunny days, I have a Mikita battery grease gun, makes greasing a lot easier, find I do seem to use more grease than I used to, enjoy your vids.
It is 13.3C today here in Adelaide, South Australia finally getting some rain! Love your real videos, I'm a UK baby, been in SA since I was 10 months old. Majority of family are in Devon where I was luckily enough to visit in the early 90's so it's great to see your lovely country side
Everything be greesed up now! Just a hint with the Milwaukee one, if you set the scroll wheel to on you can then use to trigger lock to lock it on when doing track tension or big digger pins hands free
@@Tomlamb980 I was told the scroll wheel corresponds to preset number of pumps, mine has been condemned to scrap pile kept doing wrong. 12-14c in Aberdeenshire raining 1st cut silage finished today tho.
8:34 With a bit more choke that would have started, Tom 🤣! Here in regional Australia the weather has been quite chilly in the mornings (been a couple of mornings below 0°C 🥶!). Mid-high teens during the day. No rain.
That grease gun is a game changer. Im pretty sure it's required by law that at least some grease gets absolutely everywhere except the machine when loading any grease gun 😂 Western Australia, 5C, blue sky no rain, middle of winter here (never feels right to say that June is winter). Love the vid, keep them coming Tom 👍 Cheers
Has Tom's New Rain Gauge saved Summer? Very hot here in Norfolk. No idea how hot as my Temp Sensor on the Car is not really working. it said it was 6 degree for ages.
I use the same grease gun, fantastic bit of kit. The dial is used for how many pumps you want when holding the trigger. It automatically stops after the number you set it to
That grease gun is going to be a life changer until Milwaukee take it back because you called it Makita! I'm about 20 miles away and it's bloody hot here too.
