The Gospel is what God uses for His Plan of Salvation, not politics. Politics will never make anyone born again or redeemed. Only King Jesus will do that not DJT but JC! It's not the Elephant or the Donkey but the Lamb of God Jesus real Christians love and lift up!

Two of the previous comments resonate with me, that we cannot avoid the future judgment that is coming and that persecution of the Church will bring its greatest day. The Gospel is still our commission, to preach it with power to a dying world. John 4:35 "35 Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!" We are not going to turn Anerica around, but we will save many in what will be a final great outpouring of His Spirit.
We need to be careful not to tear ourselves up for not reaching more people. I see street preachers out on every intersection on Saturday afternoon. I see the Gospel being shared everywhere I look. Of course, we could always do more for Christ and stay faithful to the truth. But this world is following the path that was prophesied in the Bible. The apostasy ( or falling away) was foretold many years ago. It is going to happen no matter what we do. I encourage you to keep praying, fasting and seeking the Lord. But you are not going to stop what's coming.
Where are you located (a rhetorical question)? I am sure they're out there, but I don't see the street preachers of which you speak. We will not be able to stop the unfolding of God's plan, and we may not know for certain what is the perfect theology regarding what God permits/predestines/causes, but let it not be said that we were lukewarm or indifferent to sin, knowing destruction was on the way.
@scottm247 That is what it's plainly said in the Scriptures. There's no way that the Church as a whole (in the condition it is today) will become like the Master by trying harder to have a revival or by going through a new Church program/training. The Church will be purified, become like Him, and be ready for His return by going through the cross in the dark days ahead of us, just like the Master. That is one of the many reasons for the tribulation --to purify the Body of Messiah --and not everyone is going to make it to the end of the race. It is later than many realise. Praying for God's mercy 🙏
I have heard many say, "the fig tree is a symbol of Israel." I do not find one verse, or reference in all of the Bible that say that. The old testament and the New Testament have the "Olive Tree" symbolic represents Israel. e.g. Jeremiah 11:16 The LORD called your name, Green Olive Tree, Romans 11:17 And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, I find Israel is symbolizes as an Olive Tree in scripture not one place could I find the fig tree used as a symbolic reference to the national symbol. Could you please show me from the Bible where the fig tree is a metaphor, symbolic or otherwise a reference to Israel? As everyone is saying let the Bible interpret the Bible!

Please Grasp this - OF Course, the answer is Christ. However, just like helping your neighbor MOVE or elderly neighbor is sick and shopping for them is part of the gospel, politics, as well as preaching the gospel, is what puts good people in school boards who don’t allow sexual enticement books and curricular in grade schools - putting your money in support to find the right people or to uplift someone who can go do. The job is just as much equal to the gospel like helping your neighbor move or helping your sick, elderly neighbor, or helping someone at work who you have strong fights with, but you show love towards by helping them with a ride to work when their w car is broken! Politics Is Important & Critical IF You actually care about the Gospel & need to be hundreds of hours and heavily involved, politics is what stops the education department from putting in pink haired Homosexual teachers who propaganda your children - do you care about other people??? Just like supporting Christian law groups is the same as honoring and supporting the gospel. Those law groups go out and defend your fellow Christians And protect others and our neighbors. President Trump issued at least three if not, five specific executive orders to protect Christians evangelical Christians - One I believe, specifically so gradeschool kids could have a Bible study during lunch and another so a girl could pass out candy canes at Christmas with the appropriate message and forgiveness through Christ. He also protected the troops from being harassed by homosexual and transsexuals , for expressing their opinions on their own Facebook pages, as well as they can go to the church or group they wish without the commander or sergeant holding it against them.
