My wife and I live in NC on my family farm. We have camped up in Michigan at Mackinaw Mill Creek campground. We also love SC too. We camp at least 2 time a year down at Myrtle Beach State Park. For our Anniversary in February, we are going to camp at Croft state park near Greenville, SC. We just found y'alls channel. I do enjoy the content. Hope y'all have a great year and safe travels. If your ever in NC just north of Charlotte and need a safe place to stay, your always welcome to come out to our farm.
Always love the music . I like to recommend you guys get some good hiking boots and a hiking stick. It helps keep from slipping so you don't twist your ankles
When my husband was single im told he camped with his mates a lot, then when we met i joined them, we used a tent. That was over 50 years ago. Im now disabled so cant camp, when i go on holiday now i go in the Uk & stay in hotels with my sister, my husband prefers to stay home or goes out for a few beers.
Connor, I feel your pain when you talk about the shower being a tight fit. I’m 6’07” and though our Lance 1172 is a dry bath model, it’s tight. The camper is 6’08” inside and with the skylight over the shower, I do just fine height wise. But, it’s still narrow for a big guy. I’ve learned the best way to take a shower is squirt liquid body wash on the shower walls and spin around inside. 😂 😜 Merry Christmas to you both from Carol and me! And may God bless you both.
Yey, the three of you together what a Family Photo that is. Amelia your smile is so beautiful. Barley is an Assorted breed and that makes it. NUFF SAID
Merry Christmas 🎁🎄Been watching since the Four Wheel Pop-up Truck Camper!! Love the Channel and Keep-On Camping!! 🏕️ Should check out Blue Ridge Area in GA and Lake Hartwell on South Carolina and Georgia!!!
Great video and Merry Christmas to you both. My wife and I have a Lance 1161 and love it. If you go larger, you may have to go with a larger truck as well. Our old 79 Ford F-350 4x4 does the job, with air bags on the back. but a dually would be better.
I’ve watched the cargo trailer video build. It was wonderful! I’ve been a subscriber for almost 2 yrs. I love this style of video. Anytime you decorate or share interiors “cooking or dinners” are my fav!
We spent most of our time in our Northern Lite truck camper in the Northwest this year and found that Idaho has so much BLM land to camp on. Idaho is such a beautiful state to be in the summer months, highly recommend it.
Merry Christmas y’all!!! Thank you for letting us know where you were hiking! We love your videos. Been watching for a few months now. Always enjoy all the scenery! We camp some, but not as much as we e want. We are here in AR and have camped around this state since we have been here. God Bless you both and have a great Christmas!! 🌲
What an awesome episode.... My now wofe and I had a 3 year long distance relationship, before I moved back to the Mid west from West Coast.... needles to say, married following year... So awesome to see you enjoying the minimalist, mobile lifestyle...
Hope Santa brings Barkley something special! Our Rusty loves to get into his gift bag. We're hoping to hit the road in the new year, with Rusty of course. Merry Christmas!🎄⛄️
As always loved the video and learning about the two of you and Barkley. You can always do a doggie DNA on Barkley to verify his breed. Merry Christmas to my favorite campers!!!!!😊
I've been watching since your first few videos. Loved the cargo trailer. So much that I bought a 24 foot trailer with 7 foot ceilings and I converted it to a camping rig. I had the roof strengthened so it could be used as a deck. I had a 80 gallon water tank, a composting toilet in a private bathroom and a shower. Had two 1,500 btu air cons / heaters on the roof. I insulated the walls, ceiling and floor and it was just fine in any temp. Had a murphy queen bed, kitchen, two closets, etc. Basically it was a 180 sqft of living. Used it for 10 years and sold it for $14,000 a year ago. Then I bought a 43 foot Class A and it's incredibly nice. Love your videos and feel like I know you guys as friends.
That's awesome to hear! I sure did love that trailer, wish we could have kept it but I'd definitely build another one someday. We appreciate your long term support and maybe we'll see you on the road someday!
Merry Christmas. We are happy to hear you say South Carolina is one of your favorite states. We live in SC and camp somewhere every month. Would love to share some camping time with you around one of our beautiful lakes. Happy camping!
Merry Christmas!! I am from West Michigan but have lived in GA the last 25 years. I love to camp in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Great State parks in GA but traffic in Atlanta Area is tough. Wishing you three the best in 2024!!
Wonderful video!! Beautiful views from Pinnacle Mt.! So fun to learn more about you guys! We watched when you were in Michigan, so happy you like our state!!
Thanks for sharing!! The format with sharing your lives was AWESOME!! I’m living the camping life thru you and look forward to every video. THANKS AGAIN!!
If you haven’t mentioned Oregon as a favourite state, please visit. The coastline and Astoria will be all the proof you need. And a second favourite “state of mind” is Vancouver Island. Take the ferry from Port Angeles, Wa and land in the centre of Victoria, Bc. Love your videos. ❤️🎉
Hi guys! Watching you shortly before your folks got there new Cirrus [love it] We had a Palomino with a slide on our Ram 2500, but it was just too much for a 3/4 Ton truck. We needed a bit more space for grand son coming with us, so now a 24 foot pull behind. Like you said though, there is no perfect camper! I do miss feeling confident when off road with a truck camper! We love your ''meet up'' story! Have a blessed& Cozy Christmas! hope to see ya on the road some time! Jeff & Sandra
Merry Christmas. My wife and I really enjoyed your video. We recently got our truck camper, even smaller than yours, and took our first trip to a nearby state park. There is a fair amount of choreography that goes into camping/living in one. We thoroughly enjoy your videos and have learned a lot from watching them. Thank you so much!
I’ve been watching about one year when you first got the camper you are in. Why did I think you guys were married? That’s cool you built other camper. I’ve been building homes and buildings for 45 years and now retired just started camping 2 years ago. Merry Christmas guys can’t wait for next season!
Another great video guys 👍🏼 Haven't been around since the cargo trailer days but I'm glad I've had the opportunity to follow along !! 🌵 As always, a little something for Mr. Barkley 😹
We got a Magic Chef mini fridge from Home Depot and it runs on solar full time. Happy we threw out the propane fridge that came with the Lance. It drained our solar right away. Our fav states are Alaska, Florida, & Arizona 😁
Thank you for sharing your info about the two of you. I am a Michigander girl myself, and have always camped a lot in Michigan. Actually, I love the UP and we camp in a tent. I have watched all of your Michigan videos. That’s actually why I started watching. Happy holidays to the both of you.
Enjoyed watching y’all climb pinnacle it’s not as tiring watching someone climbing it as it is actually doing it LOL, we’ve only been up it a few times and that was many years ago. I just like to say thank you for mentioning where y’all were and I hope y’all have a Merry Christmas and my wife and I love y’all’s dog and the Christmas tree. Y’all have a great Christmas and don’t forget what it’s all about. Thanks and God Bless you two.
Merry Christmas 🎄 We just discovered and subscribed a couple months ago but we have gone back and watched all your old videos as well. Enjoyed all of them.
Thanks for the small peek into your lives very kool. I watch them all( videos that is) just don’t comment often but I had to this time. Here goes Mad Respect for you both hope all your goals dreams hopes come true for you both. I look forward to so many more of your videos. Merry Christmas. May Peace Health and Happiness follow you and yours
Rickkets Glen State Park in Pa. is really nice in the fall with waterfall hikes that ya'll may like. They even have a really nice lake to swim or rent canoes and paddleboats and camping or rent a cabin !!!
I always enjoy your videos and travels. Love seeing little Barkley hopping along with y’all. Hope y’all have a Merry Christmas wherever your travels take you. Be safe!!
So that's why they named it Little Rock. A lot of little rocks. But actually a Frenchman named it, "'la petite roche' or 'the little rock,' to distinguish it from a larger cliff across the river."
Been around a bit more than a year. I went back and watched every video before following along. I love all your videos. I look forward to every week to the next one! Thanks for giving us a glimpse of your history. Yes, Michigan. My favorite since I live here. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Always enjoy your videos. Was great to get to know you both better. Thanks for sharing that with us. Hope you both have a wonderful holiday and a fantastic new year!!
It sounds like you need a Class C or a travel trailer to fill all those needs. The bad part about a Class C is you can't remove it like you can now. So if you want transportation away from the camper, you need a two vehicle. So, a travel trainer is likely the answer. You can get short ones that are tall with a spacious bathroom and have the counter space you need. I would advise one with ut slide outs as that adds wait and there are issues with some of those leaking and especially over time. Like this one would probably work well. (I hope they let me put the URL in here and, I am in no way associated with RV sales. This is just one I am planning to buy for myself and recently picked it out. We have similar needs.) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-R2cH5omGU5k.html :)
As for your climb, I think it is amazing that you actually climb it about twice because you show yourselves hiking to the camera or from it then have to go collect the camera and go the distance again. lol
What a great video this was. It was awesome seeing Conners family. Merry Christmas to both of you and I wanted to thank you for all your content. What a FANTASTIC couple you are!
Merry Christmas guys! We really enjoy watching and actually started following when you were working on your Four Wheel camper. We are transitioning to full time truck camper life and will be on the road when the house sells. Down sizing has been really stressful... haha! You guys are very inspiring. Hope you have a great holiday time with the family and thanks for bringing us along!
Great video! Have been following your journey about 2 years now; back when you had the 4 wheel canvas pop up camper. Was nice to getting to know your past histories and how you two got together! Best part was seeing the “young” Conner is his “large” 🎩! 😝 Anyways, Merry Christmas to you three of you and hope you continue making great memories with your families this holiday season! As always, stay safe out there…..
What area did you grow up? north, middle, or southern. We live in Sebastian. Originally from NY. Yes, I remember that video of the construction of that cargo trailer. Vermont was a nice camping state. I have two questions: what were the most recent jobs you worked and what do you do for health insurance? Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁!
Question if money was no object like powerball level what kind of setup would you have?? And not just camper so like sailboat or other mobile home setup?? Love your video and I’m thinking to go full time rv for a little bit 🤙
Now that is a fun question! While the sailing lifestyle seems intriguing, I don't know if it is something we'd enjoy long term. We do talk about it often and maybe something along the intercostal or great loop would be an option but i still think we'd stick to camping. The arctic fox 865 and adventurer 901SB are our two favorite truck camper models and we really do love the truck camper versatility. But if we'd go extreme it would probably have to be an earth roamer (or similar style platform) and flat tow a jeep or similar. But then we'd run into size issues so honestly I don't know what our dream setup is. We're still loving the truck camper route as of now!
@@LivingLargeCamping personally I would probably go class C rv not to big but not to large just right lol but I need a minimum of convenience like a dry bathroom and AC lol 😂. Love you guys video and I hope you go exploring other country in the future. Cheers 🤙
